ok guys i’m having a tourny on dec 10th, pretty much just about any capcom game that you play will be there, also some snk for the children, but the main ones are really marvel, 3s, cvs2, and tekken5. we are trying to get more games going, gg R# will be there also for you gg players, so yeah guys i hope you can come please post up if you can make it.

I find it odd that my place has been made available to everyone for the past 4 years, it has fully functioning sticks, all the sytems, and can be used as late as desired, yet people have stopped showing up for the most part and bitch about the scene here dying.
Before that, it was always Sergio, Mike, and Freddy hooking us all up with a place to play at and going out of their way to get some games in. I used to make a 40 minute drive every time I wanted to play and they’d always hook me up with a place to crash and food and whatever else so we could play. Whether it was Freddy, Gabe and Mike hooking me up with rides everywhere or Sergio letting me crash at his pad every single weekend, I always thanked them. Or when Mike would invite me over for an entire day just to teach me some new shit on MvC2. Even if I was in hot ass Odem, I knew that it was up to me to utitlize what was provided to me to improve. I can’t even begin to list all the times those guys have went out of their way to help me out. There is a lot of shit that goes into that. I can’t even begin to talk about all the times I have carried three trash bags of shit out on Sunday morning’s after everyone leaves. Yet I never said anything to anyone, and I always welcomed people over. Not just local people either, I have always welcomed any out of town people to play or even crash out at my pad if need be.
I also don’t understand how me, Mike, and Gabe are never invited when these little get togethers happen. I know a few weeks back, Gabe and I were just hanging out at my pad and no one else came over (Mike was out of town). I then hear the next morning that there was a get together at Phelps, and we weren’t invited ‘because there was alcohol and they didn’t want me to be uncomfortable.’ wtf I’m 21 years old and a senior in college lol. I also heard that ‘we weren’t sure if you wanted to come over or not.’ That is what a cell phone is for! I always manage to hear about them after they happen. I just don’t understand that and honestly, I’m kind of offended.
Sure, I have stopped playing fighting games, aside from the few matches of MvC2 here and there, but I have never said people couldn’t use my pad to come play. Just because I don’t play in tournaments much anymore doesn’t mean I don’t wanna ever play. Most of the time I don’t play is when it is only me, Mike and Gabe playing and everyone else is just on the couch and no one ever steps up to play.
Say I just play World of Warcraft, say I just play Frozen Throne, whatever…but when a place is provided to play, as well as all the necessary equipment, I don’t want to hear about people not being able to play or get better.

Best thing ive gotten to read of this fuckin site in a long time. So sad but yet so true in so many apsects. Im glad J came out and said something cause honestly im pretty tired of it myself. Those who really know me i only post if absouletly necessary as its not worth my time most times. For J to come out and say something actually means alot since hes pretty much the nicest guy ive met so u know its bad if he has to say something. And furthermore just to touch up on some things he stated i think alot of u fucks take this place (J’s) for granted. Fuckin trash like a mother fucker everywhere, sticks and games where they are not supposed to be. People going thru some of our shit, almost noone saying thank you alot of times. Drinking/Eating lots of our stuff. And granted we have get togethers and do give shit out and what not but i think alot of ppl have taken it for granted and not even offered a simple thank u sometimes. As far as gaming goes, well let me just say me and jay personally AS FAR AS TO FUCKIN GO TO ODEM with my own 2 man joystick setup and games and tv’s to throw tourneys. Wheter it was there or here in town we did what it took. Even in the fuckin mall. Alot of the Tekken guys dont know it because i dont play tekken5 at all so they never see me. But the tournies they have wouldnt have happened at all if not for me and J and thats the fuckin truth. I wanted to help everyone out even in games i hated or didnt play. Shit ill tell u something else we even thru a SVC tourney and i think that game is electronic shit. I also even had an intervention with most of the guys that played here. Everyone promised me to learn and grow but did they? For the most part it was a BIG LET DOWN. I will say much most improved player over the ones that were just gettin started or were new to fighting games was GONZALO. He really tried to give it his all and i comend him for it. Anyways we did our part ppl wanna hate well… FUCK YOU THEN. I dont give a crap if someone says “this player goes mass fiends” or “he just uses fiends”. Anyways maybe someone will open thier mind up a bit.
I don’t know if this is towards me, but it just seems that it might be. The truth is that i’ve been really busy and since the end if the semester is coming up i really haven’t been able to play much games with anyone, except at the mall, needless to say the sticks have their good and bad days. My intentions to play some games was for all cc people and the honest truth is that i can see that it is the end of the semester and i dont feel like it is appropriate to bother box or cris for a ride. I don’t feel confortable asking for rides, the bus has been my means of transportation. Sorry if i’ve been sounding like i was taking your place for granted, but like i said i feel kind of unconfortable when asking for a ride to and from your place. It’s like i’m free loading off of you guys and i don’t think that’s cool, so i was hoping to see if guys wanted to come to my place just so i feel that i’m not moching off of anyone. I’ve always been greatful and loved J for letting me play at his place and crashing, but i just felt that you may have been getting tired of my constant wanting a ride and what not.
I don’t know what else to say because i think i’m making it worst by saying the wrong things and putting them in the wrong wording, but this weekend is cool to play if you guys dont mind me going over. Don’t worry about the ride i’ll find a way to get there, plus i think there is a bus that goes towards that area.
Thats only if it’s cool with you guys, because i feel as if i’m an enemy here.

Sure theres the problem with gas money, but whatever I’ll pay. I’d really like it if I did give you a ride you’d donate some cash (like a dollar at most) for gas, but you don’t have too. I won’t think less if you either.
My car may be a piece of shit but it can take you from point A to B, no problem.
