Is there anything to do in Corpus at 8AM and kills time for like 1-2 hrs?
I might be in Corpus Thursday mid-day to Friday around noon. My girl has an interview in Corpus and I was gonna tag along but hit a little bit of a bump when the company said they were going to meet with her on Friday morning at 9 and then she was to follow them from the hotel. Original plan was she was gonna drop me off somewhere around 10 and she would pick me back up when she was done but they changed her interview time. Therefor meaning I’m either screwed cause I can’t tag along since I’m stuck on Friday or I get dropped off somewhere and chill for that time.
Now you know the story somebody help a brother out. Any cool stores or places to hang out that are open that early in the morning?

We have umm a lot of taco stands. If you need a breakfast taco we’ve got stands for that on every block.

As far as anything cool being open around 8am I cannot say. If I ever go anywhere its after 10 or so. Barnes and Noble opens at 9am though if you need a good read or a browse. You could always try to hit up a 24 hour gym if that’s your thing.
If your near the Calallen area you can chill with me for a bit before I go into work. If you plan on playing any games though you’ll need to provide an extra joystick. My worktimes are manageable because it’s a family owned business.
If I think of any “good” things to do during the week i’ll post up some more options for you.

Yeah it’s this Friday. My girl said something about staying at the Omni hotel, there are 2 but they are pretty close to each other (paid by the company). I have no idea what’s in that general area. I know more less where it is but I don’t know what is around there. Barnes and Nobles is actually a pretty good idea to kill about 2 hrs if I can find a restaurant within walking distance to eat breakfast I think I’ll make this my plan. Shouldn’t be to hard being that its in a plaza area.

Yea DJ, there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance of Barnes and Noble. The Omni’s are downtown so you’ll have to go to the other side of town if I remember correctly but it’s not like it takes that long to get there. I don’t hang out around downtown too much because that’s usually just the bar / club scene to me and that’s not my cup of tea.
I liked it a lot, I can just only play 1-2 matches of it at a time because of graphic hitches. Fiber Optic is pretty nice. Good luck man!
