Strem was better this year in terms of showcasing the entirety of 5v5 sets and not randomly cutting to different matches imo. I just wish that they would use Challonge and also find a way to better convey who is playing. I felt the English commentators had trouble more often than trying to figure out who was playing. Still an awesome steam and tournament.

Japan stream had the high production of the Team name number, all players at the bottom for you to cross check to that list of teams, also posted to SRK frontpage (when I first saw teams listed that way I was looking to see Nuki’s team go far!). Also how many players the team currently beat, so any 4-4 = anchor guys, which was a weird way at first until you recognized that’s what that # was, not players left. US stream had a bigger game feed window yeah.
I was doing my own baseball scoring on what player up next/how many players left. Who went 1st, etc.

Since we couldn’t attend this year, the second best choice for Italian players was to gather in an AirBnB flat for a 3-days of 3rd strike full immersion, playing in the day and watching coop in the night.
Tournament was hype as f***
Deshiken’s performance was INSANE in the precoop, he played like on a whole different level.
So much that we had our Ken-only tournament to honour him.
I was rooting for his team but whatever, the cup was a blast to watch. I regret not seeing enough gaijin on stream, and neither enough KO Family.
I’m very glad Genki got the spotlight, he deserved a big win and Alex winning the decisive game is a good stfu to the face of the “3s is yck” crowd.
This year 3rd strike is turning 18 btw. Some 3s birthday event has to be made on May 12 
Oh and the funniest part was when on the EN stream the camera was on Matsuda/Kochiya but the audio was from Pherai/Ryan, best dub ever
