Glad to see that Laugh believes in the Focalprice converter. It’s good to have a better distributer.
nice packaging! lol
Are there any converters from Cthulhu pcb to 360? I assume no, and it’s dual mod or wait for ps360 pcb?
I think that’s the one I’ve been using. It works fine, but there might be a frame or so of lag… A friend of mine thinks it feels a bit off in the timing compared to my Cthulhu stick, but personally I can’t really tell. But it works fine with the PS3, it will recognize both the ps2 controllers and they’ll be usable.
Glad to see the Focalprice adapters getting some love. I will prob end up buying a few more from Laugh, as focal price shipping is pretty bad. At least it was for me. And yea the packaging was pretty amusing when i got the adapter.
And i was wondering what happened to all the focal price adapters. they have been sold out for a while.
ok also incompatable with the controller converter pro is the Hori Fighting Commander 3. What I’m going to do tho is try to reverse engineer a 360 pad and put the components on a cutsom shaped PCB for the Hori. That way I can actually use a decent pad without having to go thru crappy madcatz. After that I’ll try to dual mod the FC3 and If i can get it workin i’ll do one up for anyone interested.
now you look like your avatar…LOL
anyway so I am assuming it works with sony digital ps1 pads too?? or dualshock only?
haha but yea i am pretty sure. i cant 100% say but i dont remember ever reading you couldnt, and i dont have any to try it atm.
I just confirmed it does indeed work with the sony ps1 digital pads perfectly as well.
Just got what is supposedly a Dragon V2 adaptor, but I don’t know if it’s legit or not. I figured $5 was a low enough price to risk it, I don’t play in tournies and hopefully it’ll work well enough for what I need.
Is there any easy way to tell if this is a legit one vs. a remake of some sort?
IS there a decent converter for 360 to PS3?? I was told this one was: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0042SB2I0
Not even wanting it for FG’s, but i’d rather play Portal and Uncharted on a 360 pad. halp!
Second this. I actually wouldn’t mind using it for the mk pdp sticks since they aren’t dual mod friendly. So I wouldn’t mind FG feedback.
how about this adapter,is cheaper than dealextreme
Thus far, that adapter works perfectly well with my HRAP VLX (360). Used it to play in a PS3 MK tourney.
I do not have a PS3 on hand to test for lag and dropped inputs, nor have I tested other sticks/controllers just yet.
Is it possible to use SFIV TE PS3 USB Stick with PS2?
It doesn’t work unfortunately.
Is there a converter for it?
Has anyone tried a PS-to-Wiimote adapter like the one here, available from DealExtreme for buttons?
I know, I know, why not just hook up to the gamecube ports… I’m thinking future WiiU compatibility options. The WiiU isn’t GC compatible, and highly unlikely to feature GC ports, but does retain Wiimote compatibility. So, unless Toodles can add Classic Controller support to the MC Cthulhu family of boards, this sort of adapter could be pretty handy when the WiiU launches.
WTF? The gamecube controller was the best controller nintendo ever had. The classic controller(even the pro model) sucked compared to the gamecube controller. I only used my classic for virtual console SNES games. How will people play smash bros on Wii U without a GC controller?
I would assume they work fine though. The reviewer said they worked with his custom sticks.
So on the front page they link to this converter http://www.amazon.com/PS2-Controller-Converter-Adapter-Playstation-2/dp/B000NPSAJU/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1309985352&sr=8-4 as being suggested. I’ve never seen that one before. What’s the story with it and does it have an option to trigger the Home button?
So I’m probably going to pick up a Saturn Type 2 pad soon and I was wondering if anyone here has used Saturn controllers on PC via a Saturn->PS1 converter + PS1/->USB converter. Does this work? As in, would all the buttons work or would something get lost in the signal conversions?
Also on that note, does anyone know where you can currently get the Keio Saturn->PS1 converters listed on the front page?
