where are you getting your info g0est? the focalprice/bee adapter has not been shown to lag are you talking out your ass? I own both laughs Korean adapter that used wired controller and focalprice and they are the same if anything the focal price seems to get a better millisecond response on the photo lag test
I’ve ordered two differnt PS2 to PS3 adapters from Amazon, both in 2 packs. The first ones worked fantastic, the 2nd ones worked fine. I didn’t notice any real lag issues with either. This is the first This is the 2nd
The first has a box in the middle, and was awesome because I could use the analog button or up+select to access the home button. It came in a generic white box, but I got two of them. However, when I tried to plug a wierd off brand PS1 stick into mine, it made an auful smell and hasn’t worked since. Eventually, my friend had something similar happen to his, although he says it was static. Anyone had issues with one similar to this, and should I reorder?
The 2nd works fine, but it has no Home button (it might not be the exact one in the pic, seeing as I got two together), but came in a box that may be the exact same (I’m at work and don’t have it with me right now). However, it works with all the controllers, even the crappy ps1 stick and digital sticks. However, I can’t use it on Scott pilgram, since for some reason that game doesn’t work with controllers with no Home.
Any advice? My friend also wants one for his SF15th Pad.
Need some assistance my snes>psx and psx/ps2>ps3 converteer omypas and performance was bad and laggy.
Im left to assume i have a bad psx/ps2>PS3 converter because the converter is only lag less with ps2 dualshock, when I try my PSx pad, it was unresponsive and my other converter is snes>psx . I was hopping you guys can recommend a converter. I’m not sure exactly what to look for.
I got a ps2-360/pc converter. I don’t know the brand, but it stopped working recently. 360 wont recognize it with my ps2 anniversary collection stick, and my pc won’t either. Doesn’t work with pad anymore either
What’s a popular, reliable converter for this purpose that will work with a >stick< and a pad?
I want to convert my 360 TE to work on a PS3 since I’m getting MvC3 for it and don’t want to drop $100+ on a new TE stick when I got one working perfectly fine. Are there any reliable converters that do this?
For the inPin what digital PS1 PCB does it support? What should I look out for when getting one? I am aiming to mod a Tekken 6 stick and with little space I don’t know if a PS1/PS2 DS would fit inside it.
So after god knows how long, i finally got my converter from focalprice. They ended up sending me another adapter via EMS shipping after i told them the first one never arrived and they checked the tracking numbers and the thing apparently disappeared into limbo.
When i get home tonight i will do some testing and post how it works on my slim 360.
What console is the stick made for? If it’s USB(PS3/PC) then you would have to swap the PCB with another PCB that has a home button. If you are using a PS2 stick, any PS2-PS3 converter that has a home button should work. Either way you need a home button for PS2 games because when you launch a PS2 game you need to press home on the controller you want to use to activate it. If you are looking to buy a PS2-PS3 converter be sure that it works on current firmware because some USB devices were disabled a few updates ago, but I’m pretty sure the Pelican and Inpin PS2-PS3 converters are still completely compatible(and they have the home function).
Anyway, can anyone tell me why PSone classics bought on PSN don’t recognize my PS2/USB stick? I tried it both as PS2 hooked up with a Pelican and also with the USB end but no luck. This really bothers me because PS1 disc games work fine with the USB mode, so shouldn’t a PS1 game downloaded from the store also work?
So I have done some testing with the focalprice adapter. It does not need a wired controller to function with the console. All testing was done on my 4GB slim unit.
Build quality on the unit is alright, nothing too great, but it doesnt feel like it will break either. It has a mic port on the side for headphones, but i have not tested it yet, as well as a guide button on the side for the xbox dash. that worked properly. All buttons are mapped to their respective 360 buttons. And the analog switch on the ps3 controller also functions as the guide button.
I had no trouble connecting the controller to the console on either a cold boot, or while the console was also running. i tested this multiple times and it had no problem assigning a controller whether it was the only thing connected or another wired controller or wireless controller was present. Analog sticks and all buttons worked properly. The only oddity was with the slider for steering wheel or pad. It is slightly offset and i actually had to cut a small piece of plastic on mine to get it to slide all the way to pad. minor annoyance.
I was using the inputlagtester tool on the first page.
I played some stages in ESPGaluda II and some rounds in SSFIV. Both games played just fine. All my links were working properly, and stages in Galuda were perfectly fine. Just for kicks i played Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden II. Both were also fine.
It took forever to get to me, but the focalprice adapter is definitely worth it.
i connect the 360 controller though the adapter and it works fine but i cnt make tha ps2 controller to work … also will it work with the SF15 anniversary stick?
