Connecting a Dreamcast to HDTV?

Just notice my new HDTV does not have RCA outlets to connect my dreamcast. What converter can I get to possibly connect to a HDMI port? Or maybe a VGA port?

You can buy a VGA cable or a VGA box or the dreamcast. You could install a VGA port directly into the dreamcast as well.

You should get a Hanzo. Someone over at the assemblergames.com forums makes a VGA adapter with built in scanline generator. It’s actually very well made, and he charges a very reasonable price.

I just looked up dreamcast VGA boxes, man they went up last time i bought one. I got mine for $30, now it looks like $60.

I have a pair of Dreamcast VGA boxes and like 3 DCs haha BUT… my LCD is so old that it only has component and HDMI inputs so VGA and S Video are out of the question. Any workaround?

If you only want a VGA adapter, same dude makes one called a Kuro. I have one in my Capcom Impress, works great!
