Confirmed patch

please god add replays

REPLAYS REPLAYS REPLAYS

and spectator mode in rooms

I guess I should add to give the option to remove the menu in training mode when paused so we can see the damn hit boxes.

This plz. That and more stats on who’s in the room with corresponding pings. And give the current host kicking powers that they had in HF quarter matches for getting rid of idiots and super laggy peepz.

Sirlin said he tried to do that but couldn’t. I think it may have been a time issue but I forgot.

I hope they don’t give the ability to kick people. Maybe mute people, but not kick. Anytime some sore loser gets beat they’ll be kicking out the winner.

I’d be very surprised if they attempted any balance adjustments, with the exception of Akuma. However I am fully expecting that they address the netcode and glitch issues (life bars, etc).

Maybe have it so the host can initiate a kick vote? Because there are definitely times when someone with like 300 ping decides they REALLY want to stick around.

LOL so true. I feel bad for them though.

I like many of the suggestions on here. For PS3, I only hope for a more equal game playing experience compared to the 360.

On both consoles, an option to not allow Akuma players in your room would be excellent (since they have an option for no Classic Akuma already).

Excellent suggestion!

You can already mute on XBL. Select the player, view profile and select Mute. Works in every game.

I’m sure he’s using a more literary take on the word “you” here, since he’s certainly not talking about many real people. I was on there for the first time in weeks yesterday, and in the hour I was there I managed to find a total of like 10 people to play ranked matches with. Then I played with a friend for 30 minutes before the connection started crapping up and we got the lifebar glitch. I don’t intend to go back anytime soon.

Much of the fanbase that bought HDR has already left, and news of a patch coming out anytime near when SF4 is coming isn’t going to make them come back to Remix instead of SF4.

Still, I hope the patch is good, and I hope they fix all the recorded glitches and polish up the balance a little bit. Sometimes I also hope to find a genie’s lamp so I can wish for peace on Earth, a billion dollars, and a pony.

They need to fix or add, not sure if it was broken, the players met issue.

How about adding (using) the feature of seeing someone’s W-L record (from Scoreboard matches) before a match starts. The fact that it’s ALWAYS 0-0 is frickin’ retarded. Ok, so if you’re playing Friendlies it keeps track, but big friggin’ deal. When I’m playing a SB match, I wanna see what the other fool’s record is!

2 things I think should be added to the search for room options.

Display Friends Room option. That way you can find where your friends are.
Filter Full Rooms. Why show rooms I can’t enter?

1 thing for Quick Match. Classic Quick Match.

As I’ve said before, and posted on Unity, in order of importance.

  • Walk forward while holding charge glitch
  • Online specific glitches (lifebar, vega desynch etc.)
  • Akuma unblockable demon glitch
  • Akuma balance changes to make him weaker – e.g. Way too many things to list
  • Fei Long balance changes to make him stronger – e.g. ST recovery time on chicken wing

This is me nit-picking, but I really wouldn’t mind a Street Fighter IV style sound toggle system where you could individually choose which stages you want to have Remixed music or Classic ST music.

But in all honesty though if they would just fix the God-awful online problems that’s been plaguing this game since its release, I’ll be a happy man

Personally the connection stability issues are the biggest for me. It’s hard for me to complain about balance when half the time I set up a room full of friends we are losing people at random. I also wish they gave party controls to host as well. The charge while walking foward bit is very cheesy, yet in all honesty I don’t think I’ve run into it at all even when playing against the general public.

I’d love to be able to just spectate matches, assuming that didn’t result in additional lag for the players. Also, I think it would be cool if the last 20 players you played could be saved so that you could view their name and have a chance to message/friend people you had fun playing.

Honestly any improvements to the community portion of the game would be great.

That’s kinda already in there, just a part of the XBox’s normal functionality, so it works across ALL games, not just HD Remix. It always maintains a list of the last people you “met” on XBox Live. Hit the XBox button and scroll right to the right-most tab, and that should have all the people you most recently met.

The previous poster was probably on the PS3 version. There is something similar in the XMB, but they don’t update the player list at all for this game. You have to remember what the name of the player you played was if you wanted to say “gg” or to even add them as friends (or for the unlucky, find out who badgamed/disconnected on you). I’m surprised it wasn’t automatically updated on the XMB, but it is the buggy PS3 version after all.

One other feature would be: Vs matches against the CPU. It’s Training mode without the regenerating health for the CPU and player (Vs matches so you can play against the CPU against your character of choice). If that wasn’t an option, at least show the player’s health reduction before regenerating it again to see how much damage a combo by the CPU does.
