You people talk of the real, untouched DC MVC2, but if it was the DC version UNTOUCHED, that means tons of grinding to unlock characters. I still have my VMU data…
I remember this game was a lot of fun back when I didn’t know dick about fighting games. Roomate of mine in college had it, dunno how it’d hold up now.
But seriously, if Sega didn’t develop it, it’s not related to this article. People need to stop listing their entire DC catalogs full of games that are not affected by this news. We ALL love Power Stone, but ask Capcom if you want to see it on XBLA. Sega doesn’t have shit to do with it.

Oh dude, Spawn on the DC was soooo kickass. I played the hell out of that game, and I remember Spawn IV, Dark Age Spawn, and the Terminator wannabe (forgot his name) being crazy good. I wish that I had a PC to VMU connector of some sort, since I can’t be assed to beat the game 20 times to reunlock all characters for EVO casuals.

NullDC would be your answer if you’re looking for legit MvC2 without the DC.
Slightly off topic, but is NullDC better than Chankast? I haven’t been in touch with the DC emulator scene at all.
Leaps and bounds better. Fully playable MvC2 with NullDC. That should give you a comparison between in and Chankast.

Garou’s already on XBL, with piss-poor netcode.
Naw Garou is all messed up on DC. They should just release it on PSN and use the NGBC net code since it seems to be pretty good. Patch that netcode in XBLA Garou while their at it. Really root for games worth owning not messed up games lol.
