shouldn’t matter about the processor type.

:u: Good lookin’ out Mixah.

funny story that i forgot to mention…

when i first met orochi zoolander @ evolution, he goes…

“Oh mixah? you’re the computer guy, right?”

wtf?

Lol, I know about the hot key, but was wondering about all programs in general like windows media player, internet explorer, AIM, winamp, ect. Is the notepad way similar for everything else too?

Not that I know of. :frowning:

why not use shortcuts?

Oh I dunno, lol. The original WMP icon I deleted a while ago from quick launch. Was curious if it was possible to recreate. Thanks anyways.

well, just drag a shortcut into your quicklaunch…

right click the quick launch bar, click open… and just drag shortcuts into that.

Ah cool, didn’t know I could open a folder of the quick launch bar. Thanks!

yeah, it’s also commonly at this address:
C:\Documents and Settings*USERNAME*\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

what’s the command for configuring START UP programs on RUN? I have way too many progs in use (around 48) that start up.

msconfig

That was exactly it. Thanks!

before you get on that… get spybot search and destroy

there’s the advance config that lets you change the boot up. it shows hidden items, and actually lets you remove them from the list.

Or better yet, use autoruns http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

why does my question mark come up as

is your keyboard set to uk english or american english

american english, but I notice it does that sometimes if I mash some keys

no idea then… :-/

maybe there’s somethign wrong with the keyboard… might need a new one. sounds like it’s sending the wrong keys to the computer.

Hm, Microsoft Silverlight. It’s not huge in size, but is it worth the download?

this tutorial here… SIGNIFICANTLY raised my performance in Vista Ultimate.

Try it out. Make sure you make a system restore point before begining.

it needs some tweaking… but it’s fun for a little while… try it…

it’s a great alternative to flash
