Completely new to fighting games.

That’s a fallacy.

Not exactly a fallacy in the case of color. Some cultures didn’t have different words for blue and green, they were considered different shades of the same color.

There is a difference between movies and fighting games. With a movie you only watch it a handful of times, and when you watch a movie you have nothing to do with what happens. With fighting games you spend tons of time playing it and if you found it terrible then most would abandoned it. As far as the examples you gave with movies only proves the point. You list forest gump as a bad movie but its not. You just have different more niche taste.

Yes and no. My argument was flawed because I brought fact into it. If something can be scientifically proven, then you’re correct. It is a fallacy. When man thought Earth was flat, they were scientifically proven wrong. However, opinion based arguments do not follow that, since there is no real true answer. When it’s based on opinion, it’s just an unofficial vote on whatever is the best.

You dont know what a fallicy is. A fallicy is an argument that breaks specfic rules of logic .
