Competitive Gaming:: Anxiety of losing

This reminds me of my friend who mashes in casuals, but when he plays in tournaments he’s afraid to push buttons.

I go through the same shit sometimes but when I say “fuck it” And go in, 90% of the time I’m successful. It’s that intimidation factor. If they think you’re afraid, they’ll take advantage, but if you put fear into them, they make mistakes and you can get away with some crazy stuff.

^ Thanx for the answers.

I took some day off and went outside.

In fighter I feel better when I play because I ain’t super good and I don’t expect to be super good or top 8 evo.In fact I pickup fighter only for casual and I feel like fighters (mostly brawl) are good in party.

Anyway I will take the following week off try to set my mind together and enjoy the game a little more.

Take a break and relax.

Meditate.

Listen to Tribe or Little Brother while playing. It keeps me from going insane on any online game.

Play a game you don’t care about. I rage over SF4 or KOF on GGPO but I just do stupid stuff on Halo and always have a good time.

Exercise.(Exercise is scientifically proven to be stupidly good for you. Mind, Body and Soul.)
