Lol Since that new Z-Move is sound based it probably goes through Subs. That’s pretty insane considering it also functions as Ancientpower.
Just make sure Kommo-O has Poison Jab/ Flash Cannon for Fairies and it’s good to go.
Probably run full special, clanging scales is a special attack and kommo doesnt really have the stats to really run mixed. I also dont think z moves take the properties of the attack (like z hyper voice doesnt to through sub and marshadium z doesnt steal stat boosts but ignores protect and sub)
He also needs a real fighting move but hopefully this makes him a realy threat

About time!!! Kommo O and rock ruff were the only 2 Mon aside from Primer in a that made excites for this game. Now that they are getting buffs I hopefully can play them in OU with Ash Greninja (who everyone thought was getting suspect tested for being broken)
They fixed most of the glitches. They were banned at first cause they were game breaking. I think z parting shot used to end the match or something (that got fixed)
I have been running Alolan Ninetales with Barbarcle in OU. This shit is working pretty well. Once Veil gets up free shell smash on a weakened team seems to win games easily. Rocking Z has pretty much destroyed anything bulky that switches in. I just wish it could learn waterfall for consistency. Other than that though it destroys most things and outspeeds a lot of things including scarfers like Lando and Lele (depending on if it is max speed or not). Not saying it is busted but it is a nice fun change of pace considering nobody is using it.
Ah I’m so upset. I almost got an OU sweep with Incineroar today. Only reason I didn’t was because the guy RQ right after I one shotted his M-Latias.
Veil is broken
Veil is rediculous. I had been telling people in here and otherwise that Alolan Ninetales would be game changing because of it. You set it up and then switch to Bisharp who is immune to psychic fangs and gets boosted by defog lol. But yeah veil makes Barbaracle usable in OU and UU. Otherwise it would die to quickly. Shell smash into continental crush ohko’s Tangrowth from full health. I love it when they switch in just to get slaughtered lmao
Ninetails wasnt used before cause of mega metagross. Once it got banned we finally were able to abuse the hell out of veil.
It does have trouble against kartana, mega scizor, faster fire types, etc. The only problem using barbaracle is that celepexvenu is a super popular balance core and i dont think barbaracle can preak toxapex or mega venu. I havent seen bisharp on too many veil teams tbh. Probably has to do with having similar match ups as a-ninetails. Ive seen too many zygardes tho.

I was running Lele and magnezone for a while with ninetales to stop a lot of that nonsense. I wasn’t rubbing barbarcle til recently. I was looking for something shitty in the lower tiers that I could abuse in OU on some troll shit. I didn’t think it would be all that good til I start nuking would be counters with Rockium Z. I was one of the original people running porygon Z(porzingas) and megagyrados under veil before it became popular. Then I realized I could basically do the same with barbarcle and get a Z move (water type setup sweeper with a good ability). I didn’t realize how good Rock Z is in OU meta for mons in general. That continental crush hits a lot of shit really freaking hard and I don’t mean just on barbaracle.
