Mega Metagross is fine. If he survived OU in ORAS it has only gotten harder in SuMo. Again they are retarded weeaboo’s who love LeLe because she is an anime character. That thing should have been gone a long time ago.
Mega Metagross did get a huge buff though. It’s a much bigger threat that in ORAS

Yes it is. Base 80 to base 110 means it doesnt gotta take that hit anymore. There’s a reason it went from 8th most user mega to most used mega by a lot. It benefits from all terrains too. Does a great job against bulu, fini, and koko.

Most cant switch in. They OU dark types are hit pretty hard on the switch. A-Muk takes alt from EQ or Meteor Mash, M-sableye doesnt like taking meteor mashes, and Hoopa-U has awful physical defense. A-Marowak cant take 2 EQs and Gengar…lol
Mega scizor is a counter though.

Metagross HAS to stay. If not then you will see bullshit like AV Bisharp to deal with Lele. Hell if you took away the choice items it becomes a lot easier to manage. Outside of that you can’t fucking touch that thing. Psychic terrain means the one thing you need to stop it can’t touch it (looking at you bullet punch sucker Punch and priority in general) is useless. I hate having to game plan for that thing.
Metagross benefits from all the terrains and really lacks checks right now. Dark types get rekt by fairies nor can they switch into it. Fire types cant switch into it and are usually slower than mega metagross. Ghost types are essentially non existent nor can they switch in. There’s also a large group of mega pokemon who arent available for logical reasons that would otherwise check mega metagross (mega mawile, mega lopunny, mega Swampert, and such). Lack of priority doesnt help either. It’s super bulky, pretty damn fast, awesome attack, fantastic coverage, and a great defensive typing. The mega buff helped it so much now that it has many more opportunities to attack since it doesnt always have to take a hit first (base 80 speed to base 110 speed is huge). It doesnt help that it fits on every team archetype besides pure stall so it’s super splashable and usually a better choice.
I understand why they’re probably going to suspect it, it’s not going to sweep teams on its own and its more similar to how aegislash is overcentralizing (no where near as close though, like not even 20% of what aegislash did). It’s more so to see what happens to the metagame without it right now. If it does get banned now, there is a very likely possibility it would be suspected to return (or even just out back in) when the other megas become available. Right now a lot of people are considering it to be too much due to lack of reliable options (basically sac and revenge kill)
I will not advocate a ban for it here unless it becomes a problem. I wouldnt mind seeing aegislash go cause that thing is dumb lol
Sorry I meant my post to be moreso in regards to LeLe. Its the only thing that checks it. I have plenty of other things that check it like Ash greninja or some speedy electric type or Excadrill (sand rush).
