You’re going to want fire blast on volcarona. The extra z power it gets lets it almost OHKO things like garchomp and latios at +1.
Change whirpool on tapu fini. Remember this is a pivot that defogs. It’s entire purpose is to set up your sweepers. It forces a switch and nails the switch in pretty hard with natures madness. It is not going to be in for enough turns to trap with whirlpool let alone it doesnt have recovery. You might like taunt, scald, or moonblast in its place assuming you’re running defog and nature’s blast
Im not 100% sure sableye actually fits this team. It seems too passive. The teams solid in general i just dont know if sableye is the right mega for this team.

got rid of Whirlpool and am using surf. Scald’s mini burn nerf plus the terrain means I can’t burn anyway so I opt for Surf for the extra bit of power. Seems to work so far.
You use scald to hit mantine and bulu. The power difference is minimal.

Still, being able to burn levitators/flying pokemon (FU celesteela) and not giving a monster like bulu a 100% free switch is a damn good reason to use scald.

Yes but common switch ins to fini are flying/levitating pokemon, tapu bulu, and tapu fini. Being able to status these guys can change the game. You’re not going to run hydro pump on something like this (rotom-w doesnt have another option) and the power difference between scald and surf is minimal. It’s better to even have the chance of burning celesteela or tapu bulu than not at all when both moves are like 7hkos on those pokemon

Swapped out to Scald, As much as I make prediction mistakes, being able to call in Volcarona after a Draco Meteor/Overheat/Fleur Cannon and set up one Quiver Dance nets me the win.

Impish nature hurts HP a bit but there’s no other better nature with this setup. 12Spe to outspeed other bulky Lando, Swapped U Turn for HP Ice to take on enemy Lando with said EVs. (unless they updated the set then I’ll need to fix the spread)
Looking at your last few battles, you’ve been pretty conservative with lando-t. You could tey giving rocks to ferro and making lando DD z move lando. Your team lacks real power outside of volcarona

Im gonna agree with that. I said i had a brainfart before lol. I think the team just lacks a wallbreaker and using a more offensive lando-t kinda showed that the team greatly welcomes the power. It’s mostly just gonna be trying out what fits best.

this is the best I have done in a while as a whole. My rut of struggling feels like it’s over as I have been having fun with this team and everything clicks well. Just need to keep refining more. Thinking of dropping spikes for knock off or possibly power whip on Ferro as I already have rocks and my team.
I personally liked spikes as it added pressure to the opposing team.
Volcarona is so good this gen i love it
