To be fair, I didn’t start complaining until after someone riled me up. Also despite yes M Sableye being a boon to stall, so many wanted it banned (to a degree it was…but way too late).
I think I had better luck with older teams. Imma go through my past matches and see what I can use there. I miss TSS teams way back. These new mons feel like they cater to my unconventional style yet lack the practical needs if that makes sense (like Palossand and celesteela know giga drain but not stealth rocks? Wut?)
Newest Idea I’m looking into is something with the water spider.
Yeah man def go through your old matches! I seem to mix old school stuff with new school stuff, that’s totally me right now whether it be synergy or building teams. There’s too many moves and possibilities now and it takes like an hour for me to think of something good.

I seriously don’t agree with team building to handle “every” threat. Maybe couple gens ago, but I gave that shit up. It’s impossible. I go to team build I pick the one out of; Feraligatr, mega houndoom, mega medicham or Hydreigon then build something solid.
I need to see one these comps that handle every major threat. I don’t think they exist.
I agree with you both. You can’t prep for everything but you can tailor a team to a particular Mon or 2 while trying to cover the most common things being seen. If you think you can cover everything in this game then you are an idiot. Just play something you like and try to beat as many of the top used threats as possible.
While no, you can’t 100% cover everything, you can make a team that has no scenario where you could autolose at the team preview screen.
