I’m a diehard SF fan and was utterly disappointed with SFV when I first got it. It was basically the definition of “barebones.” The only atoning part was the gameplay and even that had its problems. I don’t think it’s worth jumping back into if you’re used to the amount of content REV 2 offers. Capcom keeps putting in more and more costumes and stages instead of fixing the glaring problems of the game. Season 2 was a huge letdown for me with the “all brand new characters” approach. It’s not that I don’t like Kolin and Ed, but that’s a big risk when people ask for Sagat (myself included), Sakura, Oro, Viper, Retsu and the like. And I don’t think the risk was worth it.
People asked for Retsu?
They have. Ever since SSFIV. And Capcom is aware. You can check Decapre’s reveal trailer to see that he was actually considered for USFIV in place of Decapre.
Phantom_Miria:
People asked for Retsu?
Hell yeah, obviously. I asked for Restu myself…
…to google
…to ask who the fuck he was.
You have to be like 37 years old to want Retsu. There isn’t anyone that doesn’t have grey hairs on their body that wants Retsu.
GKN:
You can still jump at the back of your opponent and displace it from the wall even if the other player is pushing back at the controller.
I can’t see how this is a flaw. It’s a way to cross your opponent, mixup and get to teh corner if you want to.
