I hate that Dawn of X vol. 7 doesn’t come out until August.
Makes me think I won’t be able to catch up for a while. I really don’t want to do singles for the rest of the the runs. I enjoy that the trades put everything in canonical order. I don’t want to hunt and peck through my library looking for the next issue of whatever X series I need to read that matches up.
Edit: if anyone is interested—until 6/25 comixology has all 6 omnibuses of The Boys for $9.99 each. They’re normally $20 each. If you have unlimited theyre $8.99 each

Nice. If only my LCBS was worth a shit. I may have to get the Negan Lives comic that comes out on the 1st of July from them though. Which upsets me.
Oh, speaking of comics. Bill and Ted’s new movie will also get a 4-issue prequel comic
Evan Dorkin and Ed Solomon are writing the the comic while Roger Landridge will illustrate
Issue 1 is due September 9th.
I’ll tag @Pertho to this cause I remember when the new movie was announced he gushed about the originals.

Kieron Gillen doing the writing with doing the art, and with Kieron Gillen being a WH40K player, you know it going to be good.
And apparently it’s Marneus Calgar’s untold backstory.
I just read Transformers VS Terminator # 2, and it’s really fun. The mashup works well.

Well damn Marvel and Disney just short of buying Hellboy, The Goon and few other properties before they are able to wear Dark Horse Comics skin like a bath robe.

Do you know what this means? We are closer to a remaster of Capcom’s Alien VS Predator arcade video game!!

They purchased 20th Century Fox, they own Aliens and Predator.
I doubt it, the legal landscape to make that happen is a nightmare. Yeah Disney owns it, but various divisions are compartmentalized, so one division can necessary touch the other.
Unless Disney buys Capcom?
This comic looks interesting
“Commanders in Crisis is all the energy and creativity I’ve served for the past five years, now completely unchained!” said Orlando. “No rules, no restraints, the type of strange and passionate ideas that brought me into the medium in the first place. Comics should be bold, comics should be big, and comics should be badass. This is my first freelance launch since 2015, and we’re taking a nuclear shot across the bow. No vanilla vengeance here! This is a fight for comics as they need to be.”
The last survivors of the Multiverse live among us under new, superheroic identities, five survivors of doomed worlds…taking a second chance to ensure our world lives on. A new twist on strange superhero comics, with a bleeding-edge eye on the modern moment, Commanders in Crisis follows in the footsteps of Doom Patrol and Thunderbolts as five unexpected heroes come together to solve a murder unlike any other. The victim? Compassion itself…This is ideacide!
This intense, weird action thriller will remind readers of the importance of compassion and hope in the present moment—all while putting fists to faces along the way!
I’m loving the shit out of Matt Fraction’s Hawkeye run. Every issues starts with Hawkeye basically going “okay, I know this looks bad. Probably really bad. But I can explain!”
Stories like these made me wish I paid more attention to Marvel when I got back into comics in the early 2010’s. But that whole mid-late aughts run of Marvel where every run regardless of title somehow centered around Wolverine pissed me off so much.

ComicTropes has been uploading clips of an interview he did with Robert Kirkman a few months back. It’s kind of an abridged version of his career, his outlook on the con industry and pitching his new books
OK so the new Marvel comics are out.
X-Force #10 continues to be action-packed. And the signs were true Jean Grey gets into a hot tub with Wolverine and kisses him. It seems this has been going on for a while. I suppose Cyclops is OK with this?
Strange Academy has been much better than I expected. Always good to see Illyana not taking shit from anybody lol.
