I am a representative of the Nexus Gaming Alliance, a video game room organizer for a multitude of conventions. I have not posted an update to our ranbat/Tournament season in a while. So here is where we are.

MOMO2 is going to cost us $1000 dollars for one weekend day. This is not something we could afford for the ranbat and might not be something we could afford for just a street fighter tournament. So Kiest and I are planning to launch a tournament in January at MoMos. If the tournament is a success we can run it bi-monthly or quarterly. The reason we are joining our tournaments with Kiest should be clear that we cannot afford MOMOs price if it is just us. As it looks now the best solution for our ranbats season might be a Wednesday night at MOMO’s.
I was thinking we could do the last Wednesday of the month. Let me know what you guys think.

I look forward to see you all tomorrow.

Hey there Zoob / Ben, good to see ya here, and hope to see you tomorrow for MOMO’s. To get you familiar with who you met this weekend from here:

Me (Ryujin): Played C.Viper in AE, usually Trish / Sentinel / C.Viper in MvC3.
San (DJ_San / IzunaDrop / IzuSan): Usually played Spencer / Taskmaster / Wesker in MvC3.
Brian (KarateLincoln): Usually played Deadpool / Sentinel / Magneto, some Dante in MvC3.

Demetri (Hulk / Tron / Haggar) also goes to MOMO’s, but doesn’t really post here. There was also Nick (Servo; Wolverine / Sentinel / Akuma), but he’s from Cincy.

For more fun / annoying Wolverine & Akuma shenanigans, I’d recommended talking to Jason (DandyJ), when he doesn’t completely hate the game. Or Monty (sonicspear64), but it’s hard for him to consistently get to MOMO’s.

Dude Athrex is A tier when it comes to complaining which means he can almost complain about everything. However I think it is undisputed that Avi is God tier when it comes to complaining. Avi’s complaining has transcended words and is now an art form.
Someone should make a Columbus Complaining tier list.

If the store has enough pre orders there will some prize money for first and second place. Disclaimer: I work there but I won’t be working that night. I’ll be playing in the tournament and if no one decent shows up, I will gladly take the prize money.

Speaking of, I wanted to drop this tidbit of info for you.

Abel’s TT comes out in 5 frames. On a blocked step kick, Abel is +0 or 1 depending on which active frame hits. Your crouching jab is 3 frames.
