GGs last night. IV was not so hot but that’s what you get for not allocating enough time into practice for the week. Overall had a good time still, just got super tired near the end of the night.

KoF 2002 was refreshing too. I know SNK had issues with K9999 because of his (obvious) resemblance to someone else, but putting Nameless in the game to compensate instead felt like a copout. I do have 2000 and 2K1 to practice on - Dandy, you said most of the characters are playable but which ones did you say were going to be an uphill battle?

Blue Mary, EX version of Kensou, and Kyo-2 i’d stay away from. There’s really nothing wrong w/ Kyo-2, but regular Kyo has like everything he has and better versions of it. Outside of those characters, everyone is totally viable imo, just pick who you like. Here’s some good chars if anyone is looking for who to play:

Kyo, Iori, Andy, Joe, Nameless, Robert, Yuri, Athena, Kensou, Bao, Yashiro, Chris (both), K’, Kula, EX Takuma, Xiangfei, Hinako, Kusanagi, King, Kasumi

All these characters either have simple stuff to abuse, or are shoto or close to shoto style so you can pick them up easy. If anyone decides on a team I can give a rundown of combos and shit for your chars. If you don’t like any of those characters, don’t worry, only like half of those guys are top tier anyway and there are a lot of killers in this game that but just have unconventional stuff if you have to learn.
