The tournament was fun. I enjoyed it loads. :slight_smile: TBH, I was quite nervous when pit against JW, so I input my attacks slightly too fast. The three “whiffed” Fc b+1 sword sweep was supposed to be b,b+1+4 staby-stab. I made sure that those were done at perfect distance, just too bad that they weren’t done w/ teh right timing.

@ Sluch: long story short, I had my cough syrup in the same compartment w/ my controller. While tossing everything into my trunk, I guess the syrup bottle exploded in the bag. Good thing that I inspected my pad a night before. When I took it out, it was pretty sticky… like, someone-just-released-a-load-on-it sticky.

Dandy J/Brent: Thanks so much for organizing and running the show. Wanting to give the extra venue fee back to the players via pot bonuses is a really selfless act and even better because you gave it to the lesser-played games. Something that this community needs for sure.

Fugee: Thanks a lot for helping to get the venue moved to MoMo’s. I really appreciate it because we probably would’ve made a lot of people upset with the amount of space we didn’t have at Zeno’s. Also, thanks for getting Justin to come out. I hope he really enjoyed himself.

Justin: Thanks for taking my money in Magical Drop and SSF4! I thought I might’ve had a good shot of winning in magical drop, but it’s kind of discouraging to see how much of a skill gap there is (because there aren’t really any good players in my area) between us. If I make it to NEC and you’re there, we should run it back!

Jess: No problem. It was cool hanging out with you friday. Haiku’s food is awesome but the service is not! Let me know if you have any Abel questions and i’ll be happy to answer them.

Skeez: Thanks for the casuals, It really helped calming me down after running brackets and shit, I started enjoying myself. I felt pretty good about that low parry because i’m starting to see stuff and react the way I should in Tekken since it’s all new to me. I’m sure i’ll have more questions for you next time I see you.

Thanks to Dandy J and Brent for putting this thing together, and thanks to everyone who was running around lending a hand running brackets, registration, etc. I had a great time.

Momo’s / Cane’s were gdlk as usual, thank god we were not at Zeno’s, that would’ve been a disaster lol.

GGs to all the Marvel players. I had a blast playing casuals all day long.

Brent, why are your tournaments so god like? That was a shit ton of fun, sorry I let you down by not having practiced marvel and by losing to wolfy k, I’ll just have to step it up and do better at seasons beatings, here I come top three… somehow.

Wolfkrone, you are a beast and you earned mad respect from me. The damn near reverse ocv on team Pittsburgh, beating me for top three, and not looking too shabby vs Justin’s rufus, way to go bro. I’m going to chill in the lab and relearn this match up. I’m far from done with you.

Shoutout to all of Pittsburgh, we took top three in blaz blue, first in melty, first in mk, and three of us got into top 8 in super. Hot damn!

Antoine, way to be a cool guy with a fearsome rog. Justin sure had your number when you played him. That ex snake strike finisher was pure genius, but if you would have just ducked, you would have won.

Andre, you owe me two dollars bro, and yousa gonna pay what you owe! Sucks you lost in the chun mirror, I was hoping to see you go farther, just make it happen next time. No worries on your money match too, no one stepped up and played me or Adam in a money match either.

You was the one that always pop out of nowhere and challenge Doctor and I everytime online and talk mad shit to us and that always pump me up to win a match everytime you did that. Man, I just talk to Doc about it and I was really shocked to see that it was actually you that I was playing. Doc told me that he wish he was there with his Jade to stomp you Kabal. Guess he still doesn’t like you but very nice on your Kabal, you really did improve alot and I didn’t know there was a good side to Glitchy Rodregiz (Can’t spell that last name) I’m still shocked that it was you.

So people saying that Ghetto Kabal cheated his last match with me. Hm…I didn’t see anything that he cheated on, I didn’t see any glitches at all that he pulled off but all he did was send me to the corner and rush down with Kabal, which was a smart move to win, I could barely do anything but that’s all apart of the game is to win no matter what. If you don’t get that then you will never beat me or G. Kabal.

I don’t know about stomping my kabal with jade but I am sure it would be good matches, the “Doc” has not played me in quite some time, I think he would be very suprised. Lex or prob Mo I think would play you at SB if you want a real something for your sig – winning a 20-man tournament where the best player and one of the other best didn’t enter is not sig worthy lol. You seem cool and a guy who just wants to find good comp, so if you want a real challenge we can set it up with Lex or Mo at SB if they’re down. Respect though for winning both tournies and esp Summer Jam against all those really good players – I hope Shock will want to play a long set with you at SB as well.

GS on the tourney Brent and Jason! Everyone was hype and had a great time. It was def great experience for you guys and you handled it awesome.

Apologies on Marvel running slow like it did – I was supposed to run it but I signed up for 4 games. When it became clear we were gonna have to run a bunch of games at once I should have dropped almost all of them, it was too crazy. Thanks to Harmon and Fugee for running most of that tourney.

Are the 3s grand finals up? Since it’s a game I’m knowledgeable about and did the commentary (as opposed to my Luna Lovegood SFIV commentary), I wanted to go back and listen to it to see how I sounded and how I can improve, since it was my first time doing that.

More shouts: Indiana – GS seeing you guys, and playing Mario/Dave in 3s MMs was fun fun. Brent, you got caught in the three-ring circus, oh nooo! Avenge yourself at SB! It’s always good seeing you guys, you’re awesome.

MI – you guys are skilled at every game and it’s awesome you come out in force to regional tournaments. GS Grego in 3s, lol, you got me good – I wish we could play more. Sorry I barely played Marvel with any of you – I was pretty burnt out after 3s casuals and I had to start helping with random this and that.

Luis – that 3s FT10 was a ton of fun, it was great having something to get focused on and get us to play our best. GS getting me back in tourney and getting 2nd. Hope you enjoyed playing Justin – I remember the first time I played him in 3s I learned a lotttttt off our long set.

Rouse – GS getting 2nd in Mortal. You need to find a way to make it to Cle fight nights, haha.

The best player did enter, Me!! This to me is some hating ass shit to even say to be honest with you, like you won because the best didnt enter. You have to beat Lex, and Moe, blah blah. Listen man I will beat ANYONE thats right ANYONE I am not intimidated in the least by ANYONE.

I beat EWASHOCK so bad in Philly (10+ Babies) that he actually kicked me off his website, because he is trying to hide the fact that the tournament even happened. I beat ILUVUJOE so bad in casuals that he said “I have had enough of this Im out” after 1 game. I then stomped Joe at the Tourney as well,I stomped AC1984 with ease, and to be honest EWAShock who is supposed to be great was nothing more than an average player at best.

I have beat every good player that I have ever come across online and offline, so believe me I am not in the least intimidated by any more claims that you have to beat so and so. I have won the last 2 tournaments back to back which makes ME the man to beat not the other way around.

If they have the tournament SB where I can use a PS2 pad, I will play. I have no problems with that, however I am not a CAB player I cannot and will not use sticks.

Also my man, if you want to test you skill now I will play you on Mame, all casual of course, just let me know date and time and we will see what the outcome is. I have a 50d/50u fibre connection and have 11ms ping to WW on Mame there will be no lag. If you are up for it let me know.
