Expecting random people to give a fuck about you is the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard in my fucking life. You have to earn respect, not just show up and demand it. Furthermore, Earning friends entails being social and coming out to places. I understand that work other real life stuff can prevent that, but don’t expect to be cared about moreso than anyone else.
You’re given just as much thought as any other person a group of people isn’t familiar with. And posting in the cola SC thread isn’t going to make you any friends. You’re right, we don’t give a fuck about you. Sure, we can empathize with your situation, but you can’t honestly expect anything more than that. Much like respect, friendship must be earned.

@ Simplekiss, Missy Elliot once said very poetically “when you had me, you ain’t know how to deal with me”. I moved away a few months ago, which is why you haven’t seen me. I went to Nashi for 5 years every week, and those last two I’d bring my own console. But even seeing me every fucking week, not a single word was even said to me to the point where I basically said “screw going to Nashi, might as well play online with lag since I get about as much social interaction that way”.
Oh, and as for respect: my friends respect me. My coworkers respect me. My family respects me. My students respect me. I honestly don’t need any more of it. Just pointing out the obvious; posting here does nothing. So whether or not people don’t respect me here is irrelevant. As it should be.

The point is. I. Don’t. Give a fuck. I went to Ranbats more than twice and was ignored. In fact, if I remember correctly, all everyone did was offer advice TO MY OPPONENT on how to beat me. When in Nashi I was also ignored. Am I butthurt? Fuck no. I was simply replying to Simplekiss on his comment on how we are strangers because we haven’t been to Nashi in months.
The reality is that anyone outside your little clique is a stranger. And I don’t have time for cliques, since I have indeed graduated high school.
I would rather just post here occasionally without having to “try to fit in”. That’s not my style.
My style is going to tournaments, kicking asses and taking names. Which I have on numerous occasions. But that’s not enough, so I guess I’ll have to just live my life as a PhD in Chemical Engineering instead of worrying what a bunch of strangers think of me.

@David: I am SALTY that there aren’t any casuals happening tonight. Also, I guess this means that you aren’t attending Tension Pulse. That is also unfortunate. Now I am even more upset that I missed out on the previous casual sessions because I had other things occupying my time.

I originally wanted to go to Tension pulse myself, but came to the immediately conclusion that I just don’t give a damn. I only have one tournament on my mind and this one isn’t it. After that? Then I’ll be done for the year.
