Optimus: I would say that the only other games that are really touched by more than two people are Mortal Kombat and Marvel vs Capcom 3. Blazblue is all, but dead. … unfortunately. You might be able to swindle some of the people to play Soul Calibur 4, since I know some of them actually like that game.
Josh: Though I am sure David will post with more certainty, casuals during the week usually last til about 10:30-11 pm. From our skype chat last night, it seems that some of our members had already planned to go out and eat around 7 PM. Eastern Buffet… sure you’ve heard of the place. I don’t know if everyone is attending that, but I already know some are. The location of that Restaurant is also fairly close to David’s place. Like… right up the street.
EDIT: Seems that I missed parts of that conversation about Eastern Buffet. That is to be done for Keyon’s birthday on friday. So it seems that casuals are the only thing happening today.
@ Icege: Thomas explained the casuals situation fairly well. I’m only holding them until around 11pm, since I’ve got work early in the morning. If you guys still want to come by, then by all means do so.

I’ll have to settle for IC or wait for the Next G-Vegas tournament. Just tried reserving the days for SB at my job and there’s like…5 people off that Friday

As for the casuals situation, I wouldn’t midn attending. Of course, that means that I would have to find a ride down that way. Since I believe Ben is one of the people that may be attending that get together at Eastern Buffet, I will probably bother Mister Eskay Lee.
On another note… that Marvel 2 stream last night. So real. SO REAL. Made me remember why I fell in love with that game in the first place.

Sigh. I’m just salty because I feel like I’m getting to improve so damn much in MK9 only to see NO SUPPORT whatsoever for my mains.
Nothing against you. I just don’t want to play as Sonya again. I love Sonya, Kitana, Sindel… but I quickly grew tired of their lack of strategy and variety. A good Sonya will do what any Sonya does, but better. A good Kitana will do what any Kitana does, but better. This doesn’t change that it’s the same damn strategy and it’s boring to play and boring to play against.
And the reason I’m salty is because I’ve had it happen before, where I enter a tournament and one of my mains is not allowed (Jill in MvC3, and BTW we weren’t told of this until the brackets were being built). And although you are indeed allowing Jill, I can’t in good faith drive two hours and pay money to play MvC3. Just can’t bring myself to do it. It’s fun, but if I have to play another Dante, Deadpool, Magneto, Storm, Sentinel, Wolverine/Akuma, She-Hulk/Tron or anchor Phoenix I will slit my throat and make sure it splashes on my opponent’s face.
OK, maybe not that much. But I WILL be very upset.
I heard Maxi was going to be in SC5, so I know you’re excited about that. They’ve also brought back Hilde, Tira and Voldo (three characters I don’t care about). All I want is Amy back with more buffs, an unblockable super that hits you from mid screen and have all of her moves track.

if you haven’t done so already PLEASE check out this show called Luther that’s on Netfilx Instant Streaming. It’s just season one with six episodes each an hour long. It’s pretty good detective drama. Iris Elba’s role in this is S-tier! :woot: Let me know what you guys think! They just finished up season two several weeks ago that you can only see online. For those that are planning on coming, let me know. I want to go ahead and block off however many rooms we need. Remember, you can just drive to my place in Canton before the tourney and we will all roll to Columbus together, and drive back to Canton the last night of the tourney. This means we will only have to pay for a hotel for 2 nights. Y’all are welcome to stay at my crib till whenever To catch up on sleep for the drive home.
They best bring that dude back. I was about to be upset when they stated he wasn’t going to be back in SC2. They need to keep him around, or at least keep someone with that weapon loadout.

I think John summed it up nicely when he said Doctor Strange looks like Mu-12 when he’s being played…the hype meter has officially blown up. UMvC3 needs to come out already, i want to be done with the old and in with the new!

After playing KOF13 yesterday, my hype levels for that game have risen 
I still haven’t heard anything to get me interested in UMvC3 just yet, but I’ll keep my eyes open. I’d like it if Captain Commando and Psylocke (Thomas’ favorite character) were added in to the game. Rocket Racoon should also be able to TK into Hyper Viper Beam 3 times in one combo and throw grenades
I might go to Anderson after all. Still not 100% sure, as I’m awaiting confirmation on something.
