Hello this is Jimmy i’m a friend of Woodrow’s who allowed him to host causal sessions at his place in Columbia, SC. Some of you might know me if you have came to my place for Woodrow’s casuals, after playing you guys I have purchased my own copy of SSF4 and I want to learn and become competitive at the game. Since i’m just starting out I would love it if you guys can offer any help to help me learn some of the fundamentals, or any videos you think I should watch. I’m really happy to be joining the scene and I’m totally cool with holding casual sessions at my apt. like I said some of you have already been to my place if you attended Woodrow’s casuals in Columbia and I would love to kick it with you guys and learn. Um I would have to say I’m more interested in Akuma than anyone else.

@ AwardTour: The next best piece of streaming equipment that’s good for HDMI cost around $180 and it’s a capture card. You can also buy S-Video component cables for a PS3 and that’s probably what I’ll use for streaming in the mean time.

Edit: I found this capture card that’s nicely priced and the reviews look pretty good for it. I think I’ll go with this one. I’m going to order my Asus monitor today and get the PS3 tomorrow.

you might as well save up and get that black magic. I might help out with the streaming because I interesting and it will benefit me anyway. I talk to you about it soon.

@ Jimmy: I’m glad to see you’ve finally joined us on SRK and I didn’t know you were on XBL too I think Akuma is a great character and you can definitely go far with him. Once you get his combos/match up knowledge down, Akuma can be a mix-up demon @___@

@ AwardTour: Whenever I get ready to do another stream, I’ll let you help out. Looking at the price for the Black Magic makes me rage, but I might as well just accept that I’ll have to wait before I can get an HD quality stream up. Maybe I should slow down on my spending this week XD

@ Kimchi: GG’s against you today. I really need to practice up more with Cammy and stop dropping combos. I’ve also gotta find a better way to approach, other than jumping and doing CS’s to get close. It seems like when I try to play footies and poke with Cammy, I’ve been getting counter-hit a lot lately. But just in case I’m not ready by Saturday, I’m gonna keep working on my Juri too (since she feels more tournament ready to me).

Edit: I hope to see some you guys a Nashi tomorrow and there will be another Casual Session at Madness Gaming on Friday ($5 all day). I’ll be there around 6:30pm, when I get off of work.

Yeah sorry for the post post post… but this madness gaming, is google maps right in that they are northeast of columbia, kinda far? not that’s it a problem but I’m curious. And we have a kof02 scene above every other game? that’s neat, I’m looking forward to kof13 big time.

I was worried you guys thought I always did U2 because I kept picking it, lol. I only do u2 against rufus, cammy and viper. And for the love of god I hit my links, but missed spike fadc spike like every time, ugh…

Yeah sorry columbia is still relatively foreign to me, but gps will get there.

And yeah jag pm me or just post here if you need help with equipment. I don’t know specifically about streaming, but I suppose I know enough aboult the film/tv industry we could talk out any problems you have and figure it all out.
