I just got done playing some rounds of MVC3 with my little brother and somthing is just not right. I mean I’ve been training for quite a while now but he picks up the controller and he’s already able to knock out 1 of my team members in match. I don’t know man maybe I was of that day.

The game hasn’t been out a weak yet, don’t sweat it. I lost to a guy today at a buddy’s house who literally just spammed B-6CCCC when he was far away or mash A to said combo with Amaterasu. I had no idea how to juggle her off of Felicia’s Rolling Buckler (or I was just screwing up my execution?) and got bodied pretty bad.
I wanted to play the dude again but had to go. I can’t wait until he heads over to my friend’s house again. Granted it was one game, but it’s already got the competitive juices flowing >:D
One thing I did learn though was that I needed an anti-air. I was using a double rush team of Felicia/Wesker/Amaterasu. Unfortunately, Felicia has zero air mobility while Wesker only had his teleports. I needed a way to catch people and cover the sky. I also found that I was having much more success with Felicia’s rushdown than Wesker’s (Wesker reminds me of Marduk: He needs to land that one hit to do 45% and then make you guess another 45% away… now be able to hit confirm into it >.> Felicia though I’m able to play along the lines of “LOL MARVEL”). Long story short, out Wesker, in Dante. Dante’s assist hits multiple times, which will let me hit confirm off of it and allow Felicia to stay in. Win/win. Plus Dante can utilize Rolling Buckler assist with his 22S teleport. Hope it works! fingers crossed

Still unsure if I am entering any of the tournaments today at Madness. With the busy ass days that occured at work this past week in addition to being burnt out from our ’ competative scene ’ I am just not feeling it. However, a good turn out may change my mind. I’ll still attend and give support to those who want/need it. More excited about the events that are taking place afterwards. Finally get that event goin’!

@Icege: Stating the obvious here, but Wesker really needs a “screen filling” assist to make his mixups effective. I use Sent’s assist, but you could also use others such as Iron Man(Unibeam), and Arthur(Lance). I’m sure there’s more too. Basically, zone out with 6C while calling assists, then teleport in when the opponent is blocking and force them to guess right. Mix in Light command grab(which is 1 frame!) for an even better chance. Wesker is an awesome character, and hits like a mack truck. The current bnb I’m doing does around 650K for only 1 meter.

Hey I have come here today to just post I am quitting fighting games. I have gotten to the point I just find them annoying.

The tournament was fun today, and the festivities afterward, as usual, were some to remember (WWF No Mercy was a very nice nostalgic flashback).

I’m wanting some serious labwork with MvC3. Couldn’t get what I wanted last night because the Local Drunks ( John, Keyon, Xavier ) Kept demanding me in the kitchen to make their silly sauces. Like I’m some kind of old maid or something.
