Does anyone else think it’s funny that we’re talking about Bayonetta and TvC when we should be figuring out how to get our 5v5 teams for SF4 and Tekken? :wonder:

SF4 we probably should just have a tourney for the spot or have people vote for it. I havent seen Upstate or Low State play this game in a long ass time otherwise i would just post a list.

offline, when I was playing dwaine and keyon in casuals, I was getting Fei long’s BnB every time just about. Online, never, even in 5 bar connections.
so don’t worry about doing her bnb online. Just work your shit into muscle memory in training mode, online is what the fuck ever. Online is so fucking random, you have to “out random” the other person in my experiences.
the only game I’ve ever felt was legit online, is HD Remix. A lot of top players are playing that shit on a regular basis online. Shit, a huge majority of HDR online players are really fucking good. I’d say if you can win consistently online in HDR, you doing good. SF4? it’s fucking whatever man.
Yeah I know, even teching gouken’s year long throw time is hard online. Still it’s hard to get the bnb into my play scheme because I know it’s near impossible for me to do it online, but I really need to learn the situations in which to do it. Also the couple of guys I play regularly online can pull it off 100% (although two of them took a top8 team spot at NEC, soo… :-/ )
I’m going to try and get 4 on my PC sometime soon as I hear the lag is much much better.
The “lag” for sf4 on pc is also full of fail. It’s in the same sense of fail as on console, but also on account of there being imput delay, the game also slows down. That is from 3 bars and below it does that. 4 bars does that on rare occasions, but on the flip side, green bar plays real crispy and nice. There’s a real gap in terms of a good and bad connection for the pc ver. (~_~)
I was told if you make sure both sides are set up to do fixed and not variable, as well as having good latency it’s pretty smooth. I would be playing randoms on it anyways, I’d stick to the 360 for that.
In my experience on the pc version so far, it is still pretty laggy. I haven’t come across a green connection yet though, so I don’t know how good that is. Still happy I got it for 9.99 when that deal was on :D.

whohoo I am so hyped for Saturday man I can’t wait just to game with everyone again. I find it more fun actually facing a person rather than a name or voice over a system. Although it does make me a little nervous as well. hahahahahahhahahahahahhahaha.

I am curious to see how many players from other regions of SC make it down there. Sometimes I feel like, outside of G-Vegas, Columbia has the only real scene right now in SC. Not talking smack or anything but I haven’t heard of any tourney related things going on elsewhere in a while. Hell, since that midlands vs charleston 5 on 5 that happened last year. It will be interesting.
I’ve messed around with both. I know Karas is getting a big nerf in UAS so I haven’t messed with him as much as I will once UAS drops. He’s got very dangerous corner pressure, pretty nice damage, but he takes a lot too. Of course in the JP version he has the dreaded infinite, which I know has been taken out. We’ll see what else they change too. Morrigan is pretty cool, she has a very nice combo-able launcher and she does a lot of her damage in the air off that. She’d be an ideal team mate for another strong air character for major variable air raid shenanigans.
Yes, I will be at FR for sure, I’d like to try for the team and see how I’d do. Also, I’m pretty sure my friend Justin(Jwop/shimata) is comin too.
Hey guys, me and a few friends are planning on coming to the ranbat this saturday, and I was just wanting to tell everyone what’s up. I use Gen, Vega, and Sagat. I played with u-volt a few weeks ago, and he got me pretty hyped on the ranbat.
