I’ve actually been spending a lot of time offline with fei long. Probably gonna pop up on xbl later on today. As much as I love Fei Long, and despite all the time i’ve put into him, I may just be sticking with Ryu in tournaments like usual.
I might keep Fei Long as my secret Anti-Honda counter pick or something.
The better question is who is going to Final Round in March.
I’ve already taken vacation time and am staying there for the weekend. I’m hoping some other cola regulars wanna carpool and share rooms to cut costs for everyone. I’ll sleep on the floor. dont give a damn. Gonna be a good time.

I going hopefully the rest of cola is going. I’m dragging Dr.hat(u can’t help it, u have no choice). the rooms were like 90 a day last year at the hotel that FR was at. I more concerned about the 5on5 regional tourney for FR.
Dude, don’t give up Fei in tourneys. Stick with it. I can tell you from personal experience, switching to a lower tier and sticking with it is much more rewarding than switching back to a better character and getting easier wins. This is again, just my personal opinion though. Keep workin on those Fei links and strats, and do nothing but play that character. I will never play Rog in a tourney ever again, and will not switch from Sim until maybe SSF4 and then I might alt Makoto. I’ll lose a lot more in tourneys, but whatever…I like the challenge.
As far as FR goes, I’m definitely going. So we need to figure out accommodations soon. Also, I’ll go ahead and say I’d like a bed…I’ll pay whatever for a room, as long as it’s nice and I get a bed. Preferably I’d like to stay at the venue. As far as the 5v5 regional, I say we have tryouts or something soon to decide that, if we indeed do want to take part.

But back to seriousness I do plan on going to the final round if anything just to learn and to see if I got the skills to at least make a impact (even though I will probably get my ass kicked), the same for evo the only thing is though I do not think my car will make it by my mechanics opinion it would been a miracle if it made it to north carolina let alone florida need a car made for travel if push comes to shove I might be able to get my hands on a mercury or in fact get a ride from a family member but even those are not my biggest problem the biggest one is school I still in school in march and I really cant miss this semester oh saw some more stuff for super and dont know if this is true but here is a posting found for some ultras

If not, find someone you do have fun playing with. I know what you’re saying Hi-Tekk and it makes sense. But to me, you go to a tournament to win. That’s something I haven’t been able to accomplish since D’avinos (and even then Matt kicked my ass, GGs to him.)
So it’s like… Yeah I gotta have fun, but when you playing and you realize you are lacking tools, it’s like why do I want to risk being beaten by a lesser player, when I can pick someone else and do better? I love Fei long, and no he is not as bad as people think he is. The problem is though… He’s still bad. If someone gets the life lead on me, like Sagat, I’m pretty much done. I have to take big risks at that point. Fei Long has no good comeback potential, and that’s big. He also has mediocre damage.
Right now, I’m in the middle of trying to pick a new SF4 main for tournaments. By that I mean, Right now I’m trying to decide which High Tier I want to spend a lot of time with to win tournaments. Right now I’m thinking of going back to ryu because I know him, but I’m seriously considering learning Akuma, because I like mix-ups and rushdown (and Akuma probably has the best rushdown and mix-ups in the game.)
Problem with Akuma is that you have to have some godlike execution, so I’d have to really spend 4-5 hours a day in training mode every day.
Real Talk: SimpleKiss wants to play to win now. but I’ve also gonna have to put in more work than anybody here, because my reaction times suck, and I have terrible execution.
And you could say the same for Blazblue, but I do best with Hakumen even tho he is not very good. He requires almost no execution to play. It’s all about fundamentals and good decision making. And Hakumen really only has 3 bad matchups anyway (The Top 3.) I can outskill just about any other character pick. And most Nu’s don’t really know how to keep Hakumen out, They just spam her across-the-screen blockstrings, and I’ve grown up enough to get past that. I’ve yet to see a Decent High level American Rachel player besides maybe 1 in the whole country, which leaves Arakune. Fuck that asshole. Fuck him… I fucking hate Arakune… ajdfsklafj;dsl.
Hakumen just feels like he was built for me, playstyle and design wise.

you were at that tourney as well which one I was at first one which was mainly street fighter 4 and the other which had ufc I did awsome in that but lost in the final round and came in second
