Hey peeps. Show up to Ogres this Saturday so that we can train for Evo. I was going to have the battle camp at my crib, but I don’t want to clean up for 20 mofos lol. This will be a straight 12 hour session of casuals to level up the community for Evo. As with AR, $5 at the door unless you bring a system/tv. We’ll have the entire front side of the store, so come early and bring the hype.

Last call for our ARK II tournament in Conway, AR on July 31st. We are hosting tournies in Super Street Fighter 4, Tekken 6, Melee, Brawl, BlazBlue: CS, HDR, TvC, and a Mystery Game tournament! Our last tournament had over 70 players from five different states with a total prize pool of over $1000. This tournament is looking to be bigger and better than the last one! We already have some MO gamers coming in for Street Fighter and we’d love to have even more come in to win some money or have a good time.

Anybody free this week?
I’m looking to play some games sometime this week if anyone’s free. I’ve been trying to get better but unfortunately I only have crappy wireless internet shared with like 8 other comps. Coarse doesn’t help that I’m playing guy and PSN players suck for the most part.
Anyway I live in town and anyone’s welcome to come over and as long as I have an address I can make it to anyone’s house. Just previously purchased a mediocre joystick so I’ve been practicing with that too. but i need to get my mix-up and things down. Since online my mix-up is block (opp. SRKs) or throw (opp. is mashing jab or w/e) I really don’t learn it from anything.

allen - it seems like weekends will bring the least amount of players from the KC side but works for STL. so it looks like weekdays will have more KC players/less stl players where as weekends will have less KC/more stl.
which way do you want? maybe alternate?

Hello. Does anybody here go to Mizzou (University of Missouri - Columbia) or is anywhere near it?
I haven’t found anybody that’s any good at SSF4 or Blazblue yet. If you’re within…I dunno, a 20 minute of the University, I’d like to know.

I’m actually pretty scrubby myself. Don’t even own a stick yet, I borrow a friend’s and I’m learning on that, but I have gotten…okay with the controller. But it’s hard to improve when everybody sucks so much that I get bored of using my mains on them and start cleaning their clock with Dan and Gen. (Oh yeah, and unfortunately, I do main Ryu.)

Sometimes I’m in Jefferson City, so I can post up if I’ll be around. I play Blazblue. I’m also on Xbox live so you can play me there too. I’m in Rolla so the connection usually isn’t too bad.
