ggs tonight Travis. Most Claw players I’ve played on GGPO just mash buttons like wild animals so it’s nice to have you learning the matchup.

I’ve been doing better at GG lately. I played some super-good Slayer at a-cho, god damn it I hate Slayer. I think he may be one of Bridget’s decent matches among the top tier though having played it so much now. It’s still frustrating though, why does he do so much goddamned damage off of everything. I need to learn to IB->throw close S->far S, I IB both hits every time so why not. I didn’t beat this guy once, I kept losing on the last pixel of the fifth round.
I played some white Johnny who I felt like was super good at footsie and high-damage combos but he just couldn’t beat me. He was tricky as fuck, though, he seemed to never ever pick the wrong angle for jump-ins and he’d hit confirm everything he could into the most damage he could get. I kept getting one-pixel comebacks on him or just completely kicking his ass. I think he was getting mad, lol, because the rounds he did win he would super me after the round was over.
I feel like Johnny and Slayer are really similar, but Johnny has coins and Slayer’s good.
I think that sums up Johnny in AC pretty well.

Anything I said about Slayer not being that bad is up for review now. I just played some dude who I guess was even better and holy shit if his sweep isn’t the stupidest move in the game it’s the stupidest non-forward-XE-Beast move in the game.
