here’s a hint, just don’t play SF4 because it’s hot fucking garbage. Play good games andrew, blazblue will rock peoples faces off.
SF4 isn’t hot garbage if you play top tier and/or turtle your ass off and realize the mixups are based on spacing and movement, not on actual…advantage. Then again I play a character who does everything well except get hit, but he’s really good at not getting hit, so I guess that’s fine.

I actually think Gen isn’t quite as bad as people want to say, although I guess some rankings put him dead last so what do I know. I can’t play him at all yet, I can only do combos. And even then I probably don’t know all the good ones

I’m liking Honda even with his disadvantages, and he definitely makes the game more fun for me so I’ma stick with him. Just gotta get my combos and learn more in general :looney:

Alan - Your brick wall strat is too good, it’s really hard to get in on you. I need to learn not to take as many risks with this character, it gets me killed a lot. Good shit, let me know when you wanna play again.

I’m trying to take aarons advice and take a “spin on the retard wheel” in SF4, so far I suck, i need to actually sit and play this game with other people and find someone to convince me i enjoy it…

Yea my new number is 489-3970. I haven’t tried the really hard combos on pad for gen either but if I can get jam combos I’m sure I can think of some way to do it. Got gameplay down for the most part though, just need to figure out how to beat a select few characters.
Oh, btw I think I wanna learn KY in GG as well. Seen some awsome tricks he has that seem pretty simple so I don’t have to be as precise as I do with Jam.
i’m really glad you decided to pick up akuma. very nice to practice against a good akuma. you punish very well. if i miss even a lp dp, you get that FP, hurricane kick, DP (–>fadc–>red fireball) for sick damage every time.
you use his demon flips very good. i like that, good shit.

That’s a good idea. He’s not one of the strongest characters, but he’s not one of the weakest either – and I’m of the opinion he’s the easiest character to play, or like top three for ease of use.
People talk about how Jam is super easy once you get her combos down, but I don’t agree with that. If she were that easy there’d be more good US Jams (there are only like three top players who use her as their main that I can think of offhand). Breaking someone’s defense with her definitely has a learning curve. Once you can do that, though… fuck Jam
