Hey this is James haven’t heard from anyone in a while since Andrew went to japan. Anyway some cool things have happened and now I have internet and I got a chance to play some SF4 and I really like it also I’ve been looking for a chance to play some GGAC since I watched a couple of videos on youtube. (Inparticular a simple begginers vid and AKA vs Elvenshadow). Anyway i’m looking to play sometime so someone please hit me up on some games.

ggs to Allen, Andrew and Shekeib last night in SF4. I’m still not liking the game much (maybe I need a new character or something) but playing in real life is definitely far more enjoyable than playing online.

I live in Jeff so I’ve usually just driven to Columbia when people are playing. If you’re planning on driving to Jeff, let me know by about 4 today so I can bring my TV home from Rolla. Otherwise I can drive to Columbia. If Andrew is wanting to play, it’d probably make more sense for me to drive to Columbia anyway.

James, yeah, I’ve got SFIV on PS3. I gotta do something for class Saturday at 3:30 and I don’t know how long it’ll be going on, but I can probably play afterwards.
If you think that’s weird, they both play Jam on gamepad and never miss big long-ass combos. I think they might use the same color too, I forget…

I actually switched to stick a couple of months ago. I may just be some kind of freak, but it didn’t take me very long to get comfortable on it. It took less than an hour for me to be convinced that it was 1000% better than playing on pad, and my prior stick experience was effectively zero. I can even do stuff like IAD DP with Jam that I really had no hope of doing consistently on pad (6236 in the air for Jam tends to result in 236 instead of 623). Also, IAD back 214K or 236P FRC no longer wear my thumb out. The HRAP cost about $150 after shipping but as far as I’m concerned, it was worth every penny.
Yeah, Columbia is easier for me I’m possibly going to a lockin at virtual arena with a ton of friends but that’ll be way later.
I forgot my color actually. I haven’t playied in so long (still remember the long ass combos though.
You play jam too? Sweetness, I need advice for block strings (I can’t do slash to instant air jab, jab, HS into nonsense). So what time are you making your way to columbia?
