That was the craziest weekend I’ve had since the weekend we got the Super Nintendo.
I’ll hold off on detailed shout-outs until we have full results posted but I’d just like to say I haven’t seen every single person fight that hard in a tournament in a long time. The vibe reminded me of the early Gunther’s monthlies I’d missed so much when Scandalous and NWP were still showing on the regular.

OK who from Columbia is down for Midwest? I’m still not sure I can go yet, work is getting pretty serious (so how’s it going with you and that girl… LaFawnduh?) and I may not be able to ask off two months in a row. I really want to go but I don’t know how realistic it is.
In any case if you guys have some plans in motion please let me know because it’d probably be useful for when/if I decide to ask off work. I know Jaren and Paul were talking about it and I’d be willing to bet anything at least Shekeib is going to represent the House of Shaffiey? Who else? Chris? Nathan? Josh, you should come.
Since we’re going to have Slash soon and ST seems to be advancing past fad status here it’d probably be good to hold tournaments more regularly. I know I’ve said this before but I don’t think the interest was really high enough back then. If we run another Middle of Nowhere I’d like to have a few more tournaments under my belt so I have a better handle on how to schedule things and make sure everything is purring like a kitten.

I’m most likely going to MWC, but its not a super for sure thing. But I definately will do anything I can to go. Shohaib isn’t too sure yet, but don’t count on him being there even though it is a possibility. And more tourny’s=more fun.
BTW that short short super in ST is hard. I got it like once out of 50 tries. Yeah, I’ve been trying to learn ST too, I hope it grows. I need to get Reload too.

I’m with Andrew on the tourney thing, although we need to make sure we get enough people to make it worth the effort. I am def. interested in helping run anything around here; it’s always a lot of fun for me to run tourneys :bgrin:
