I’m going to be there Friday after my class, which is supposed to end at 3 but the guy kind of likes to talk so who knows how late I’ll be. I really want to get some 3S and ST in.

yeah, it was really good to see almost everyone in town come out today. A couple people didn’t make it, but next time it would be great to get everyone. We might actually get a scene together eventually

the SF anniv. stick isn’t bad for the money. Nick has one, I played on it. I can’t remember how much they are exactly. The good thing is you can remove the buttons and stick and replace it w/ other AMERICAN STYLE parts, (Jap. stix are mounted differently)

Once I get some cash, I plan on making a trip to YOOZ GUYZ. I’m not sure exactly when my check will get here, but it’ll probably be within the next week. So look for me either this weekend or the next. I’ll post back with updates when I plan on leaving.

yo josh the stick is 60 bucks, the stick its self isnt bad but i replaced it with a comp. the buttons i havnt had a prollem with, they seem pretty sturdy.
I’ma be out of town most of this weekend, so my preference is for next weekend…but if not it’s all good :bgrin:

And if anyone else wants to call us to get some games in or somthin else, you can call us. Anyways, on the stick story, We’ve blown so much money on sticks. First thing, when we didn’t know anything, we bought the X- arcade Dual stick, BAD IDEA, it sucks and im sure you know that. So we bought a hori firghting stick EX and it works pretty well,l im getting used to it, and with the Hori stick we also bought some other random jap stick that feels really really tight on the stick so we don’t like it too much. so we went to EVO and saw these Gamecube Hori Sticks for sale, so we bought one, It was only 30 bucks and the stick and buttons felt pretty good. So then we had to get a converter from Gamecube to XBOX and there are NONE, we realized "who the hell would want to play with a gamecube controller on an xbox?. So we thought we found a way around it and bought a Gamecube to USB converter, and then we bought a USB to XBOX converter. That doesn’t work, the xbox doesn’t recognize it. SO now we bought 2 Hori Real Arcade Pro’s with 2 ps2 to Xbox converters. BUT the HRAP are in backorder so we’ve been waiting for them for about a month now. Total money spent on fighting sticks = $… Man, I don’t even wanna think about it. We shoulda just bought parts for the X arcade stick in the beginning. Oh well, too late now.
that sucks ass dude, when i relized x arade was crap i just bought new parts for it, then i got a street fighter stick and put in a diff stick in it, the origanal one is ok though. sounds like u hadda lotta bad luc k with sticks
