Just a thought, but I know that when I’ve run tourneys/sections of tourneys, and I was responsible for bringing equipment, I ALWAYS look to thrift/goodwill/salvation army stores for chairs/tables/etc…
You can find crazy deals at thrift stores for decent stuff. I bought 6 metal folding chairs for $2.00 a piece. Tables are cheap enough if you do some searching (end tables work great, good height and efficient space, and are cheaper than dining room tables).
Seriously, thrift/goodwill stores are an excellent place to look for equipment. Can’t help you out with the TV/console/game situation… Just rely on your community to come through.

I’ll call all the hotels and see what’s still open tomorrow. A month in advance is pretty decent right? Its not like its a holiday weekend so theres gotta be some hotel ballrooms still up for grabs.

I’ve got my video capture shit 98% working now, the framerate still leaves some to be desired (currently sending it to Paul so I can get his opinion). I recorded 30 minutes of matches and I didn’t think it was too much work to split them up…
Is there a better program for this than Windows Movie Maker, do you guys know? What if I want to do fancy zoom effects like Japanese GG combo vids?
edit: All I have to do tomorrow is go grab a Christmas tree with my family. Other than that I’m free all day. GGPO classes.
