Because the other Midwest scenes were interested, I think that’s pretty much what it boils down to. I think it might be in our best interests to run console AE instead of ST since that’s what’s going to be at Evo, but if Josh doesn’t want to do that I understand.

the tourney is a week form today and I really haven’t been doing any planning for it. So because of out of town people (and paul and andrew’s work schedules) it will start later than i wanted at 5pm-ish, which is fine but the shit has got to get going quickly or we will be there all night.
So here’s a quick overview of the times 'n shit:
Tournament Date: Saturday, July 29th, 2006 with signups @ 5pm
GGXX SLASH* (console?) will start @ 5:30-5:45pm $10
SFIII 3S (arcade) will start @ 6-6:15pm $10
ST (arcade) will start @ 6:45-7pm $10
*Andrew - gonna need you to bring the TV and PS2 US and Jap.
We can do a Hyper ST AE tourney after the Slash tourney if there’s time? $5?
I got this idea.
We should get 2 identical Tv’s and a video spitter thing, and have Slash head to head, at least for the semi’s and finals. For the beginning rounds we could just have Slash on two seperate Tv’s but then use one ps2 and 2 TV’s and have the finals and semi’s head to head. I think it would make the tourney more interesting and people would like it. But we have to get 2 similar Tv’s or else people might bitch about it. Idk where to get a video splitter thing though, anyone know? Plus, we have to find a good way to set it up in gunthers since there isn’t much room.
