hey! confused person here…
Ever since SRK’s last update I can’t seem to able to give COLOR to my text/posts…
Infact a post a made a while ago that was FILLED with colorr… has now been changed and doesn’t have any… :wtf:
So basically… I don’t see how to put color in my posts right now… and posts in the past that had color no longer do…
Am I the only one noticing this? Is this a problem? Who do we talk to, to get this fixed?
Hopefully no one ever fixes it. All you retards that have to ruin the board with random color edits need to die.
The feature was likely removed due to jerks posting in light colors (and not realizing that people browse SRK on the white skin) and jerks posting in dark colors (and not realizing that people browse SRK on the black skin)

thats a bummer. It was nice to have color for longer posts like guides so you could highlight titles of different sections, but it was annoying as fuck when people simply just thought posting in light pink would be a cool posting style for them to ALWAYS use

It was a real special project where i Used color to make it easier to read…
having it changed to black and white makes it boring… like reading a text book or something…

A little bit of extra work on the guides is nothing compared to the inconvenience of having to read peoples posts with custom font colours that don’t match the skin you’re using.
i argue the opposite…

Ugh. Colours are back.
Looks like I’ll be amending the rules of the forums I moderate to stated that any unnecessary use of colors in posts will be subject to moderation.
There’s also a “feature” where copy pasting into SRK’s chat window will remember text and background colors, so if I manually try to quote someone, because I copied white text ( since I’m using SRK’s dark theme ) the text will show up white and be unreadable for someone using the light theme. And obviously vice versa.
they are not back on purpose and will be removed again.

What happened to the drop box that had all the smilies?
Couldn’t we keep color but punish those who use abuse it? Why do we have to take it out completely?

yh the colors helped when labeling things on guides imo. but if you put the heading in black and make it abit bigger it should be ok.
Yeah there was just alot of abuse in signatures and posts with colors.
Until people can grow up, they are on lockdown.

I noticed that colored texts in posts are back. Is this due to the upgrade to XF 1.1? Or are we actually allowing this again?
