if you throw the knife at a projectile, not only will it stop the knife, but the projectile will keep going and hit you. thats pretty bullshit IMO
if anything it should at least cancel the projectile

Yeah, dude. The Knife getting owned by projectiles is kinda wtf? But whatevs.
Also, the “Zonk Punch” lol is pretty beast. It has a small dodge effect. It’s like a TAP for Cody. Pretty useful.

@ Mno or anybody else who messed around with Cody… I noticed that according the the button you press your super will start with a different kick. So light kick would start off super with his low ruffian and round house with his round house ruffian. And since all the hits easily juggle after first hit, I’m think roundhouse super can be a great anti air.
I got this idea from looking at the jwong Cody match and the intial Cody match that capcom realsed showing his second ultra and super. Jwong did a rh ruffian super while the capcom video did a lk ruffian super.
Anyway even though I think its obvious at this point, can anyone who was at fight club confirm it, and also confirm if rh super is a good anti air?

Mno- Grateful if you could clarify how his jump punches work. It looks like the jumping hammer fist (the one that looks like Sakura’s jumping fierce) is a vertical jump attack? Which means you can’t do it for forward jumps? Or is it a jump command move, since it knocks down against air opponents (which would make it like Kyo’s)? How about the jumping elbow? Does it have tons of active frames like Sagats? Thanks!

1st game, I was trying to build meter for Ultra and he wouldn’t let me at all. 2nd round I was testing anti-airs. 3rd I was testing some jump attacks.

About the EX tornado into ultra2 - my bad. Choppy ass stream with sides cut off made it an easy mistake to make.

TrophyClub the only other Cody player there, who spent most of his time on T.Hawk mentioned the same thing Acidic did.
Man if I were there I would’ve found someone to sit and just help me think of combos and make a list of game changes…does this still combo, how much damage does this do, can we do this into u2…so many things i want to test right now :mad: and those people worried about a few V’s? lame. save that shit for real tourneys, it’s not what the fight club shoulda been about…
