Seriously, kudos to Code Veins developer, they have been doing a great job of supporting their game.
I completed Code Vein a week ago. It’s a fantastic game. The Cathedral of Sacred Blood can get fucked though. Who were the madman that designed that level?
I loved that level so much lol.
How? The layout for that level makes using the map for navigation useless as it doesn’t map layers, and it’s a slog to get through. It seriously overstays it’s welcome by the time you reach the first boss.
Is that the Anor Lando ripoff?
Yes
That place was cool and fucking annoying at the same time.
It just looked and felt awesome. I also got excellent memory for maze shit like that. It was easy to keep track of where I hadn’t been and where to go next.
Loved that place to bits.
I’ll take the Cathedral over the City of Flaming Turds and the fucking sand level that drains my goddamn ichor.
Now I sure as fuck hated that sand place.
Don’t think I got to the sand location…
I’ll take both if those levels over the cathedral. The flaming city while being annoying af it was well paced and wasn’t pain to navigate. Pop some heat tonics and you were good. I used a tank build so losing magic to sand wasn’t a major issue.
Look, when your entire playstyle is centered around freedom of movement, it’s a pain in the ass to get ping-ponged off walls of fire just because you dashed in the wrong direction. I rock a Swift Destruction build and use tons of dash attacks. Those fire walls give me nightmares.
It sucks that this is Japan exclusive. I would buy the Io themed bag and wallet.
