Well you implied that you had it in stock, which is why I was fine with the $20 markup you charged me for the board. I had already known that Toodles closed up shop till about May 7th when you said I could order it from you, therefore I was ok with paying extra in order to get it early, but at this point, I’m paying markup for nothing. I’d rather just have that cancelled and I’ll find it elsewhere.

At this point you have not “Ordered” anything that can’t be refunded in regards to the Cthulu board as he hasn’t yet even opened up his own shop to make more of them. I don’t see why something can’t be done for this. I didn’t say I didn’t want my original order, the buttons have been ordered, and I still want them. On a side note, you already have made it known you are setting up your own webstore, with the boards specifically being sold for cost to the people in group buy 3/4, I’m sure it’s not a stretch to assume even if you somehow had magically gotten an extra one, that it would be sold anyway. I don’t see why you are trying to make an issue about refunding the money for an addendum on an order, when you’ve already fully refunded an entire order that you have almost all of the parts from.

there is a agreement in place explaining how this group buy works clearly when you order. read over the how to order section again. using the assumption that you were implied i had everything in stock is not an excuse especially then the first 7 pages of this thread clearly talks about how it works.
toodles is closed to the public. shop owners and dealers can still buy. there is just a delay with him being able to fill orders atm which is how others are still able to buy. and he requested that no one pm him during this period which is understandable.
your assuming i have not ordered anything. yet you have no knowloedge of how a group buy works?? i didn’t realize you knew when and which suppliers i order from. clearly you must have some cool spy shit in place. please tell me when i should order everyones parts.
and last that user was refunded because he was being immature and i reserve the right to cancel any order anytime.

Then just refund my money and I’ll take my business elsewhere. You stated in this thread “I have Cthulu’s” which does not take any leap of faith to say that you actually have them in stock. You’ve said several times you are stocking some items.

My assumption was that the $20 markup you’re doing was because you would be one of the only people at the time with them. I do not want to pay a $20 markup to someone just because they want to price gouge.

You weren’t refunding my order to begin with so don’t try to make it out like this is some new development.
You just did a bait and switch for my order, telling me you had them in stock, and that you knew you couldn’t get more anytime soon, yet now I’m now stuck waiting out the restock of it. Thereby you just made an extra $20 pure profit through deceit.

I’m rather justly upset because I was given the false impression that the shipment would be much sooner than it’s now turning out to be, and given reasons for delay that I was informed would not be issues.

I’ve had made other purchases without issue on this forum, for instance my JLF from Ponyboy couldn’t have gone smoother. When he said he had it in stock, guess what was shipped out the next day? You need to learn to set expectations properly from the outset, not tell someone “Yes I have them” and then once the order is in “I don’t have anymore, you’ll have to wait for the next shipment.”

So Ive been tracking my package ever since you gave me the tracking number. My package arrived in the US on 5/1. I have yet to receive it which is kinda strange because it shouldnt take that long. Is there a way to get some more detailed info about the package status from CA post?

your best bet would be to contact usps. once the package passes the border it is passed off to usps which handles the last mile delivery. where abouts are you located? i can give them a call request a trace. that’s about all i am limited too. i would wait until monday then start calling about. its past 4pm here and government branches close at 4 here.

Wow that was fast, thanks. I live in Los Angeles, CA. Ill give it until Monday and give USPS a call.
BTW, i checked the CA post website and you should be getting a delivery confirmation for orders shipped via Expidited Parcel like you did mine.

From my experience with USPS international, at least from the US out, USPS doesn’t handle any tracking past the border. Once it’s in the hands of the destination country, it’s in the hands of whomever took over, and unless you register it with registered mail, they won’t tell you anything.

Hopefully Canada Post does a better job with the hand off, but I know USPS is sorely lacking in that department.

Actually USPS is able to track the package with the CA post tracking number infamous provided me.
Infamous don’t even worry about it anymore. Im on the phone with a USPS worker now… it looks like there was a routing issue somewhere in Chicago :tdown: Its on its way though.

That’s great, now if only USPS would do that kind of service when anything is shipped OUT of the country. :frowning:

Hey infamous, so after some more investigating by the USPS worker she found that its not really a routing issue. The package is being held by the International Shipping Center in Chicago. She said there is no way to get a hold of them and there’s no ETA as to when they will release the package.
She said that the sender would have to file an inquiry to see whats going on. I’ll just have to wait longer I guess.

thats bullshit man, the shipping company should be held accountable…

For anyone who is interested, I purchased a Japan Kit and put it into a MadCatz SE - The difference is night and day with the Sanwa parts. It is like I was playing with a blindfold on before this.

As well, I don’t know anything about electronics/electricity/wiring etc. and with a guide on the tech forms I swapped all the parts in 15 minutes.

i’m afraid there is not much we can do from this point.
like i said before. if customs wants to randomly inspect and open a package. they will.
for something this small i dont think it will be held long. but what the lady on phone said was true. when i asked if i can call customs myself she simply said NO. and that there was no way for me to get a hold of them. i will call canada post and see if there are any notes on monday but i am pretty sure i will be told that once it enters the u.s. is it in the hands of usps and us border control services.
it happened to me with group 3 and 4’s stuff and it can happen to anyone. we really cannot get too mad i mean they are just doing their jobs to protect all of us.

damn 15… took me about 30 on first try with my lil bro’s. there was so many screws. and those screws taht come with the se and te stick are so cheap i replaced them. the tread on the screws completely wore off.
