Anyone who thinks MGS4 was good storytelling should be strung up. Anyone who’s seen ANY MOVIE EVER can tell that MGS4 is terrible.
MGS1 gets the big points because it did the voice acting stuff and the “movie” feel better than any game ever to that point, plus it played like nothing else anyone had seen.
MGS3 is really great as an extention of that, though

Yeah pretty much. The first time I played MG2 (to prep for MGS2) I was like realized that Kojima is probably the #1 rip off artist of all time. He was still awesome, but yeah, rips off Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, Escape From NY, etc., and then even his entire previous games, haha.

I like the game and I think it’s fun, but I’m just no where near being competitive in it. I need to play it more.
