I will be checking this thread until Thursday to tally all the votes and Friday announce what format you guys decided on.

anyway don’t complain if you don’t see a game on the list of games it never hurts to make a suggestion, i know mike is always trying to get games at this tournament that the people want to play
So you put it as ‘If Time Allows’ because you were planning on running it but couldn’t decide which format to use? Your answer confuses me.
The Naruto set-up is understandable though. I can offer to bring a television for GG if needed. I would bring a full set-up if we go 1vs1 and can use regular Accent Core. Like Syxx said, I’m not sure if enough people will enter for a workable 3vs3 format. Besides, it sounds like you want to use the 3vs3 feature on AC+ which isn’t standard in GG tournaments considering the winning characters don’t fully regain health and the teams share a tension gauge. I’m not totally against it for that reason but some players might be.
Actually, I might be able to borrow AC+ from a friend… I’ll have to check on that. Still voted 1vs1.

Yeah sorry about that info, is not really a 3v3 as in 3 people vs 3 people, but using the new 3v3 Format that is available in AC+.
I was only considering that because some people came up to me and were wondering if I could run that at the event. So to have the majority of the people vote, I just said basically I would make a Poll and have everyone else decide on that.
It does seem like 1v1 is getting the most support atm. We are still running AC+, cause is the new game and people wanted to play it. If you can bring a set up that would be awesome. Bringing a set up Waives your Venue Fee, so you don’t pay for the Venue and just save money for the tournaments.
Humbag, yeah sorry to hear that. I know what you mean and I read a lot of the responses and got a lot of feedback from people from the last event so I am trying to correct those this time around. I am personally going to run everything that had a bad showing, kinda in the similar way I was helping run SF4 at Fight it Out, so that was a good experience for me to help me out this weekend.
Hopefully we see you at a future event, but I know that really relies on how I run this event this upcoming weekend and hope some of the troubles people had last time I finally get them fixed. ^_^;

Sorry I don’t do random brackets, I do seeded based off of past performance and so friends don’t have to meet up with friends in the 1st and 2nd round since that’s also bullshit, so let me plug the info into TIO as far as generating the bracket.

Random brackets are fine as long as you seen at least the 4 best and then try to minimalize friends playing early (like who drove together).

Well, if you’re doing 1v1 it won’t matter if you’re using original or plus considering they’re the same exact game.
Yeah I know. as long as people bring set ups for either game it is fine. Since it looks like 1v1 is going to win the poll and this way people can bring enough set ups to run the game effectively.

I think im going to come thru, last tournament I wasnt prepared for the long haul and ended up leaving early. Since J.Money and everyone kindly explained to me what its like at these tournaments im more amped to participate knowing what to expect.

Ya dude iRedman look at the trailer I posted in this thread on youtube, they get a ton more people but on the other hand a lot of people are there for smash brothers as well as street fighter and soul calibur… all types of shit. If you play any type of fighting game, this is a good event to go to.
This should be pretty fun. I am going to try my best to divide each section and run everything on time. So hopefully all the games I posted will happen. I’ll see you guys this weekend.
