Last time I played Pokemon was during the red / blue days, but I got a legit Mew at some tourney in Cinci.
It was fun, but I never got into gold that much, or any of the games after it. Something about making my pokemon “happy” and not death dealing machines must have been the issue.
Also, lol @ pokemon drama. I never thought that game would be an impetus for anger ;D.
do we really even need someone to head up pokemon. we should just put the rules to a vote and let the tournaments be run by someone doesnt matter who. and id rather it not be smogons rules they are too restrictive. im not a fan of ubers either but 1 one a double battle isnt so bad. the biggest reason i dont like smogon is banning cetain moves iis stupid. its like tourny smash vs reg smash. so how about we play the game like it was ment to be played just restrict the ubers to keep it from being a team of ubera vs team of ubers.

Jesse, still think we should add a 5th ranbat game even if it doesn’t add to numbers, as long as our normal numbers can sustain it. If that’s not the case though, then it makes sense.

How do you think Matt and Jason feel? they play everything else everyone plays and they don’t bitch and whine and cry nowhere near as much as you do when people don’t play guilty gear. They have asked very politely several times and no one ever tries out their game. But you on the other make a HUGE spectacle of them not playing your game. Also, look Jason and Matt got very good at guilty gear especially Jason just for playing by himself all the time and having no one to play with. So they asked, no one answered so they left it alone. You keep trying to make or force people to play by trying to make them feel guilty or something, if anything I sympathize with Matt and Jason on guilty gear because they LITERALLY play EVERYTHING that everyone else does and don’t complain one bit.
You on the other hand, all I hear is you complaining about SSF4, EVERY fucking time you play all I hear is your mouth complaining about.

Well I do think some moves need to have a restriction or be banned cause then certain Pokemon become unbeatable even if they aren’t an Uber. Also, because of certain abilities some pokemon can REALLY be a problem to deal with only because of said move. Where as they were just a decent Pokemon otherwise.

everything in pokemon is beatable by something so i dont see the need to ban stuff just cuz its good with the exception of how many ubers can be on a team. i have a team already to go for pokeman and i expect to be able to use them. if i cant i wont be playing and im not tryin to be a baby about it i just dont wanna take the time to remake my team to fit a more boring rule set thats all. i dont know what tier my guys are even in i picked the team i got cuz i think its a bad ass team but im pretty sure i dont have any ubers.
