So ya I know everyone is all excited about power up but we should start working out the seasons beatings travel arrangements. I know I’m goin and Adam said he wanted to go. Also how long are we staying? I’m ok to go up Sat morning and only stay that night then come home Sun night. That should make the hotel cheap.

I wanna stay at the red roof so figuring this out sooner than later would be better to make sure we get a room.

I wasn’t planning on going, but I’m still stinging from choking at powerup. I might do a thing where I drive down Sat. and only stay overnight If im playing the next day as I can’t afford to take another weekend off so soon. So, If you guys could help me do this poverty style I’d appreciate it. :tup:

I would like to make it clear to everyone (especially PU2012 volunteers) that Keits had absolutely no guiding hand in the pool structure of PU2012. He and his schedule from UFGT7 were merely an inspiration for me to create something wholly unaffiliated with him. It was a structure of my own creation and if anyone had misgivings about it there should have been discussion prior to the event.

Nathan: Quick question in terms of the Soul Calibur 5 bracket. I know Funked (Billy) & Xiang (Scott), along with myself ran the brackets for the game, but did they give you the brackets back by chance? The only reason I ask is because all I saw on 8wayrun was the headline for Top 8 results on the front page of 8wayrun, but rather than that, I didn’t see a results thread posted up in the Tournament Hype & Aftermath section in 8wayrun at all. If Bill & Scott kept the brackets, it’s all fine & dandy, but if you have those brackets Nathan, I’ll post up the full results in the Tournament Hype & Aftermath section for PowerUp in SC5 on 8wayrun like I posted up the full results in Tekken 6 on TekkenZaibatsu. Thanks for any info you can drop my way on this matter whenever you get the chance Nathan. :tup:

I’ll be bringing the Puzzle Strike set I won during Power Up. I haven’t tried it yet but I’ve heard/read nothin but good things so I encourage all to at least try it.

Also if anyone wants a frame for their fancy boy Power Up poster let me know. I can get them for work between 5 and 10 dollars depending on style and whatnot.

I’m having trouble with skullgirls… starting with R3Peacock just until I learn her then likely adding Parasoul. But everything i do automaticly puts the dummy into combo state 5 before I can get any damage. great set of zoning tools though.

Hey Rob, my eyes were opened up as well about some stuff in SCV. In particular for me movement of characters & how to stop movement for certain characters. I’ll be focusing on that for sure since I think that will elevate my skill in the game even more. I look forward to it. :tup:
