I feel like doing a small team match prep Thursday for Vanpire. I assume we’ll have anchor and point decided by then… is the team order locked or can the captains counterpick from there?
Regardless, I want to get a little more comfortable in the format. We can do it on the PS2 since NEC won’t be on a cab. It doesn’t really matter if we break the NEC people into different teams as far as I can tell.

The new location for AL is awesome! I can’t wait to see how everything is going to be laid out in the new venue. I’m pretty sure everyone will love it. :tup:
I-Hop was awesome as well. I think that’s the most peeps we’ve had there in our group go there @ one time. They had to of shit a brick when they saw all of us come in from outta nowhere wanting to eat. I would have if I was in their shoes. :lol:

I am so disappointed in my lack of execution 2nite when punishing/attempting punishments this evening. It was atrocious. I was dropping double overhead combos left & right when baiting out Demitri’s fireballs, I was missing my meaty j.lk,cr.lk, ES Command Grab 9 out of 10 times I was trying to land it, & the thing killing me the most was me fuckin’ up my dash in ES Command Grab when Felicia was recovering from her DF or when her Far Screen Kitty Super got blocked. If I would executed properly, I would have gotten a lot of wins in those tight & crucial moments of those matches. Instead, my execution sucked causing me to loose a lot, then I was getting pissed @ myself which made me loose even more since I was already defeating myself mentally by focusing on my mistakes. I think I’m gonna make a mental (maybe even a physical) note to stop being my own worst enemy when I don’t execute things properly. Yeah…I shall do that. :tup:
I can later this evening, I gotta pick my car up from the shop at some point but after that I’m good. I can bring my monitor too.

Aww man, I didn’t know about visiting the new place till now. Oh well I kinda know where its at and ill see it sometime. I went and plaed marvel with the Cincinnati State group last night. Got lots of rocket raccoon practice in.
Anyway two questions. Both for Jesse.
I’m considering coming to the marvel tournament on Sat, but if I do I might be a lil late. Would that be ok? I’m coming from work and get off at 430. I know tournaments usually start late but I dunno how punctual narutards are.
And when can I expect my windjammers shirt for winning windjammers ranbats?

As for the shirt, I am at the mercy of the shirtmaker. I know it’s a life changing thing to get a Windjammers shirt, but be patient man! Also, i sent you a message on Facebook.

Not sure if it worked this way last time, but parking is $7 a day at the hotel…maybe you know of a spot where they won’t charge you Kyle. Also how much $ you looking at for gas? 7 people will make that go easier I’m sure.
I almost forgot, but this week is the first of our $1 tournament series. A different game each week. Winner gets half in store credit and the rest goes toward streaming equipment. This weeks game is PROJECT JUSTICE. I figured it was the second most voted game last time so we will go with that. These games will definitely be happening at some point - Martial Masters, ST, MvC2, Windjammers, GGXXAC and ??? Post up suggestions for the other weeks. I will be getting HNK on arcade again soon. Not sure if enough people would play it but that is an option. We will do one every week until the move happens. Like the last move, I’m going to try and have fight night still on Thursdays. It should only take 2 weeks to be completely moved from one to the other and that will happen in the last week of January.

Luke & I will get (1) whole tank (on the way home). Errybody else splits what’s left. I’m not a money nazi… i would assume ~$10 a piece, just bring $150 and you should have enough for the weekend. Food, Gas, Hotel, Registration, Parking, etc.

Just a reminder for the people who don’t check our respective facebook pages, I’ll be bringing my laptop, capture software and hard drive to this Thursday Fight Night. I am going to do a UMvC 3 set up, maybe at the front on a PS3 (for all you pad warriors) to capture combos for the Community Combo Video.
Bring your best stuff and I will capture as much as I can. Also my capture software is bootleg so we might not have game sound when we are capping unless it’s a HD T.V so be aware of that.
