I just meant Viper had a similar special move set and potentially a similar assist function like CC. Seismo = Corridor, Burn Kick = Flame kick etc. I was just pointing out that she might serve a similar role (but actually be useful by herself).
where are you getting seismo as corridor. seismo barely goes above the top of vipers head and corridor covers everything from top to bottom. and viper doesnt have awesome mummy ninja and baby assist as moves. she plays nothing like commando bun kick may be similar but that doesnt even come close to qualifying them as playing the same.

haha ya i see what you saying now. but fur surious i hadnt seen the viper mvc3 play yet. i didnt even come close to expecting them to change her seismo that much. you are right about the aa assist although i still dont think they will play the same. storm looks…like storm from mvc2 so thats boring.

I will probably not be at fight night next Thursday, so look forward to TvC Fight Night #2 on December 23rd if AL is still gonna be open so close to Christmas. Also, all prizes need to be collected the same day as the fight night, so make sure you get at me about which snacks or drinks you want before leaving AL.
Also, GS to Zach, Frankie, and Derrick for playing in the SSFIV FT5. Will have another tripod the next time I’m at AL, so the FT5s can start before or during TvC Fight Night and won’t have to wait.
I’ll be uploading the TvC Fight Night #1 and SSFIV FT5 videos as soon as I get access to the AL YouTube channel.
I will attempt to make it out next week, although I think I’m going to be stuck helping my dad with something. Actual participation in TVC has me interested.
Yeah Keith, she looks a little more tweaked for the MVC3 engine. She also has a focus attack of some sort, which is odd. Then again, Batsu has his tardy counters which do see some use. Who knows, her seismo might work more like Casshan’s assist, and it could help with OTG launchers/combos.

I came to a realization on the way home last night: I play with a goofy button layout for GG so I need to re-condition everything if I am to play on a cab. Fuck.
This is why it’s important to play the right way.

@ Nathan - we will definitely still be having fight night on the 23rd. I will only be closed Christmas day. How about a double fight night next week? Wednesday and Thursday. If you come both it’ll only be $1 for the second day. Give those who can’t come Thursdays a chance to come play. Kyle W is always here Wednesdays anyway so come give him some matches or learn some Vampire Savior.
It looks like ranbats season 4 will be starting Feb 26th. I’ll post it up sometime this month once I decide on the games and payout structure. There have been lots of good suggestions so far. If you want to add yours, post it up soon and I will consider any good idea.

Not even what I was talking about. Basically, if you’re going to play on a stick, you should probably AT LEAST use the button layout if not the type of stick you would be most likely to encounter on the actual arcade cabinet. If you’re going to play on pad, you probably will avoid playing on a cab when possible, but if you’re going to play on stick, and you go to AL, and it’s a game AL is likely to get, you might as well play with the right button setup. If not because the game was designed with that layout in mind, then because you may be forced to play on it at some point.
