Mirror matches are stupid, but there are still things you can take away from them, may as well do them.

Also, I’ve talked to a few people about this and I wanted to finally come out and address it but:

The mix-tape has taken too long, and the gameplay footage in it would make nearly every player involved look terrible. We’ve come a long way since then and I think from both a representative and entertainment standpoint the footage would not do us justice. Its been 2 SB’s since the trailer, and I just think at this point its gone on too long. While I do appreciate your work and editing Kam, I think the time for this has long since passed. Not only are there old iterations of games in there, but lets face it, we sucked pretty hard. At least now we can have respectable showings in regionals and some majors. I’m sorry if this disappoints or offends anyone, but it had to be said.

I feel like the majority of my matches in the mixtape won’t come close to the skill level I play at now, no matter how much editing you use. I would be put off by the gameplay knowing what I know now. Most of that stuff isn’t even flashy or presentable, and far short from mind blowing.

I agree with Adam on both things. You can still learn something from your matches regardless of character, unless your opponent is a total scrub and you destroy them. And the second thing…uh…I just wanna be in the mixtape.

yeah man, me and zach started to learn it, kyle already knows it pretty dang well, and derrick said he was gonna get back into it as well. mike showed some interest too so we may have a small vampire scene of our own :smiley:

Quan I think yo forgot that I play/have played. Well it’s cool to see we have VS players now. Sweet… Only people I remember wanting to learn were Ryan and Temmy along time ago IIRC, Me and Kajoq play on GGPO alot, speaking of that. Joq, when you gonna be on next so you can Lei-Lei unblockable me to death while I try to keep you off with jedah. lmao

Also, adam I think kam is aware of that, He’s just been really busy and he was telling me last time I was around he is just putting footage as a placeholder until he get’s new solid footage. As for the mirror match thing maybe your right. It’s some mirrors are like putting a gun to your head and blowing your brains out.

I think the statement is pretty clear, with no hidden messages. I wasn’t planning on coming in Dec due to work/sleep but something I play being the game of the week, I must partake. Games worth playing have been flavor of the week at the arcade, in the past. That’s what this is, nothing more. Ain’t a single person going to play this after Thursday, and it doesn’t make any difference to me. I wouldn’t blame them, to be honest, it’s not alive like ST.

I need 3 clear PS-14-KN screw-ins. They need to be brand new never installed, never used. I will pay full price.

Woah. I was on the phone when I typed that response out and did not mean to come across like that. My bad. I’m going to play this a lot because there are always people I know through the internet to play with, and I learned a lot on the van ride home. I’m not going to take it seriously or anything but it’s a fun game.

I may have 3 unused PS-14-KNs too. I’ll check when I get home and let you know. $10 sound good? If I find them, i’ll bring them to the arcade.

Yeah, I plan on making it to the tourney on the 18th, Will have Supergun with me too. Quentin, im still on GGPO pretty much daily if you’re tryin to get some matches in before then.

Just letting every1 know that I actually don’t have 2 work 2maro (fuck yeah), so I’ll be @ AL as soon as I can get there 2maro (it’ll be more around 5pm - 6pm mark actually). Also, since I’ll be going 2 AL, I’m down w/ being a fat kid, so I-Hop afterwards 4 sure (b/c u already know), & something 2 grub out as well in the early evening. I was thinking either Roosters or Olive Garden, but it’s all good w/ me whatever we chow down on, as long as it’s good food, all is well w/ this fat kid. :lol:

One more thing: I’m definately interested in playing VS. The game looks hella fun, plus Queen Bee looks awesome from what I’ve seen, so I’m gonna try 2 learn her. I’m up 4 some ass whoopins in that 4 sure. :tup:

Good choice sluch. Q-BEE is one of the best characters in the game as well.
