I like extended DLC rather than yearly disc-releases of an updated version. Hopefully my fears about not getting as many setups for tournaments because of people not downloading characters are unfounded.

For anyone who is going to Sinclair this Fall Quarter, I’ll be on campus (and not in class), from 11 - 12:15 Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and at noon on Fridays. Not very flexible, but if anyone is planning on being free during those times down in the Building 8 game area, just let me know and we can get some games in!
I have some money on my tartan card I need to burn off so I’ll see if I can swing by for a bit before I start my new job up in October.

So anybody maining Makoto in CS? I hate mirrors, and I’d rather not play a char someone else is working on in an Arcs Game, but she looks interesting enough.
Nick and the Funk Dawg will do that to you.
I don’t even mind the ABA mirrors as much as the fact that anything I think I come up with that’s clever, everyone else who’s played those guys before me already knows it (or seen a much better version of it), so it feels like I’m climbing two separate mountains just to catch up. Not only does everyone know a majority of the tricks…but I gotta come up with my own style to totally differentiate from Nick and Josh.

I play Makoto in CS, but not too seriously. So you’d be the person whose finding all those tricks and traps, and I’ll be the one going WTF THAT’S AWESOME!

Blah…we’ll see Nathan. You picked up some nice Rachel stuff in CT. If only she didn’t suck so badly in CS everyone would be happy…I’d wait for the Vampire/werewolf dude, but he’s flavor of the month already and he hasn’t even been released yet…
I’ll just have to get some playtime in at some point going forward though.

The thing with me is that since Rachel got shafted, none of the other characters really interest me that much, besides perhaps Hakumen and Tsubaki. So even though Makoto was flavor of the month, I gave her a shot and it just wound up that she is a lot of fun.
Maybe Valkenhayn will be more fun than Makoto, who knows? Matthias should be happy to see the BB interest though.

Eh, I never really hated BB, I just wished it was GG. Faster, more chars, and more ways to go about playing those chars. I don’t have a ps3/360 though, so I never really got to go indepth with the system and figure some stuff out on my own, so I’ve just spent some time watching vids and she has a lot of the stuff I like with a char.
I doubt she’ll be my main once BB has around as many chars as GG…but she has enough stuff, and does seem pretty fun.
Still…I’m more just looking for a placeholder main till the char that I really want to main comes out at some point.
Well, Jason you could always go back to the porn star. Which I doubt is a good option since she seems to be complete suckage in CS.
