Yo dave. I think I might have solved the problem with the tv not having any sound while in PC mode. I have a toshiba as well and I hooked up my 360 through vga on there today and I had no sound as well, so I fucked around in the menu(I don’t know why I didn’t think of that before) and there was an option to turn the PC mode sound on and off. Next time we all get together I’m gonna bring my 360 and see if we can get that shit to work on your tv. That is if you don’t have a vga thingy for your ps3 by then.
I dont know how PC-mode sound would be inclusive to VGA input. Usually a TV with PC input also has a 3.5mm standard audio jack. Turning on PC-mode sound would activate that output, not magically give you sound through VGA.
And I got a new TV this morning. Not as big as my last one, but still plenty big enough for a living room. I might host some shit Monday or Tuesday. I will be using the mom’s house, I will have PLENTY of space. PLENTY.

The 360’s VGA cable has the red and white audio jacks and it also has a piece that allows you to plug it into a 3.5mm jack. The tv I have just has the red and white audio jacks on the back of it and it says PC/HDMI just like daves tv. I was thinking that maybe in the menu of daves tv you’d be able to turn on the sound for the pc mode and get it to work like mine.

Phil, Dave, & Brandon: So I talked 2 DreamTR yesterday thru PM & he said that it’d be cool 2 put the machine on unlimited play for a certain amount of money. For 2 ppl an hour it’s $10 & for 3 or 4 ppl an hour it’s $12. I think we can manage that. So here’s the dealio 4 the Nashville trip:
>Time waking up: Around 7am - 7:30am to get ready.
>Time leaving to get everyone: Between 7:30am - 8:30am. I’ll be getting u guys in this order: Phil, Brandon, & Dave (Brandon, be @ ur mom’s place in Mt. Healthy since it’ll make things a lot easier on me 2 pick u up).
>What you need to bring: Yourself & some money (I calculated out the cost & somewhere between $20 - $30 should cover you). We don’t need any TVs or systems since we’ll be playing T6: BR on the arcade’s T6 machine. I will be bringing a few controllers & Phil will bring his, so we should be set. The money u bring will help cover: T6 playtime, gas, & food.
>How long we staying there: About 5 hours. I was planning on getting there around 12pm & leaving around 5pm.
>Time getting back home: Since u gain an hour going there & loose an hour going back (due to Nashville being on Central time), I plan on getting home sometime around 10pm. Let’s make that happen.

I got my dreamcast hooked up thru the vga box. I had to use an audio cable as well. I also had to turn on the sound for the PC input in the TVs menu. Kris seems to have it down so it’ll all be figured out. Either that or he’ll just have to play that tight ass ring tone for ya Dave.
