I always found the leniency associated with lightning legs interesting cuz it’s different from charge moves. For example, if u time things well, u can do an entire jump without pressing a button, land, then press a single kick to activate LLs which u started “charging” before the jump. You could never do that with a partitioned charge move.

You need to download http://code.google.com/p/fbarr/downloads/detail?name=fba-rr-v007.7z and http://www1.axfc.net/uploader/Sc/so/318650.zip (link found on c_cube blog, password is ‘urien’, on next page click on download link, and then click on the kochira link.
Unzip fbarr, create a ‘roms’ folder and put your 3S rom in it.
Unzip second zip in the fbarr folder.
To load the script, once in a game, in fba menu : Game/Lua scripting/New lua script window, then select ‘3rd_training_20120212.lua’
IIRC (i can’t test as i’m at work), in game, the main HMI is called with P1 start button held 1 or 2 sec., then you can select what you want to display. P1 start held again to go back to the game.
Some options will not be displayed if you haven’t select the correct char for it (ryu for the denjin view, hugo for the 360 view, any charge char for the charge view, etc…)

wow, i just spent the past hour with the lightning legs gauge. figured out a few setups to use now…
i could always do walking LL post hoyokusen with a jump fierce fierce but i never knew why that was the only setup i could do consistently…and it all makes sense now!
the setup that always alluded me was midscreen hoyoukosen vs dudley. jump short…walk under LL. now i can do it! thanks esn!

Everytime I load the script, the emulator crashes. No error message it just disappears. Any ideas?

Other scripts work? You should have the input display script available somewhere in folders to test.
Maybe fba-rr is only for XP (if you’re on vista or 7)…
question, at what point do you buffer the 4 kicks after short reset, is it right after you reset them kinda like fierce fierce> walk up legs? or is it buffered later?
same question on the cross up legs too.

you have to reset the meter during sa2 to do the walk under LL after the jump short reset. only way to reset the meter is super freeze or LL (doing 5 of the same kick inputs). i havent checked but parry might reset that meter also?
reset the meter by doing 5 inputs during (towards the end) of the 2nd set of her super. then do the SJ jump short and store the LL during that time.

also just to add to the original post in this thread, some tricks that arent listed are.
deep ex sbk after houyoku sj jab. works against big characters like hugo/dudley/alex (not sure who else). its not unblockable but it sure seems that way sometimes.
also its worth mentioning that against some characters you can cross them up in the corner EVEN if they dont quick roll. ill edit this post later since i have to get going.

The EX SBK works against Necro too. yuuki’s right in that it’s not really an unblockable but the first hit hits from behind. Watch the first Gunfight/MOV match and you’ll see Gunfight parry the other way when MOV tries to chipkill with SA2->LP reset->EX SBK.
I downloaded all of this and it really is a great tool. It there a way to have the health recover and super meters full and recover?

Training mode is also in those scripts, check all options in the menu (hold P1 start for 2sec).
Anyway, you can also just save a state (F10) with full life/meter and reload it (F9), like in OE.
Faster IMO as you don’t have to create a particular situation again.
I actually heard you can parry that whole chun vs Dudley reset into ex sbk normally without changing the direction, is that true?
