Chun Li Tech/Frame Data Thread: ICPO Cyber Security *3/7 Update*

Hello guys, have a couple o question regarding chun-li frame data (from the shoryuken wiki page).

  • s.mp is +6 on hit and +5 on counter? really? It’s the only move that has more advantage on hit than on counter.
  • Why the V-Trigger version of normal and unique attacks does not show any number for adv. counter?
  • What’s CH cancelling?

That’s wrong, st.mp on counterhit is +8. idk the rest.

Not sure if this was brought up before, but apparently instant air legs during v-trigger is only 0 on block instead of +1. Not sure why they made it that way, but that changes the pressure game a little bit in that situation vs. 3f jabs. At worst it should be just a trade, but something to keep in mind if you’re low on health and have v-trigger popped.

Edit: It’s also only +3 on hit instead of +4.

Doing instant headstomp is so irrtitating. I keep getting a 50/50 between iall or instant headstomp and i dont why im doing one or the other.

Before I forget, I used the replay frame-by-frame feature to find out how many frames it takes before you can attack out of V-skill. After going through it a few times, I’m pretty sure it’s 35 frames before you can do anything, so 35 + the startup of your jump attack is the quickest you can act in case anyone was wondering.

That means capcom lied so hard “her v skill is a quicker movement option so she can deal it’s fireballs better” it’s the same speed as her jump but with slightly more horizontal range.

Okay according to LW, it’s actually 34 frames before you can execute the jump attack out of v-skill.
