My Chun Li Combo: (Mainly only works on people who are as tall as Chun-Li, doesnt work on Roll, etc… as the Neutral B hits too high.) Can be done from anywhere.

I think you can land this off of a mega-crush in the corner. Dunno how useful that will be. Maybe bait out a move when you get them in the corner and mega-crush -> infinite?
edit: Fuuuuuckkk once they are in the corner you can pretty much MC -> Infinite them on reaction to anything except maybe jumping/L3 super. Why oh why can you combo out of a MC?

Yeah it’s pretty dumb. I’m only guessing, but it seems like you can mega crash a mega crash on reaction and just continue your infinite…thus almost making it almost inescapable.
I can’t cancel d.f C into lighting legs combo loop. Is there a special kara or something?
Yep it’s the mash kara. You have to mash. Really hard.
I can’t get the infinite to combo for some reason. Like they flip over and recover in between each loop, so it’s not actually comboing. How do you get around that? This shit is way harder than the karas infinite.
i got this infinite down. The main things you have to watch out for is, after the combo into sweep into legs, is the dash timing into the standing A. Pretty much you mash C and stop before you even see the legs come out, and start dashing A’s when you see the legs. If you got that down, next is the timing of the two A’s. There is a slight delay between the two A’s, doing them too fast results in positioning the character too high, and they flip out. Once you get those two key points down, it’s all easy. You can even connect infinite from a legs super in the corner (hold up and mash C to cancel the launch hit into legs)
MCs have no vulnerability period. you can always just burst and block
Been getting the infinite a little bit more regularly now that I can use a stick. The A, A part is whats screwing me up most of the time
I’ve been doing A,A,CCCC the legs come out on the 4th C.
So how about some B&Bs? Obviously in the corner you’re most likely gonna want to do the infinite…how about midscreen? I’ve been using:
2B, 2C XX Lightning Legs, dash 5A, 5C xx Lightning Legs, j.C, IAD j.C, IAD j.C, land and rejump j.a (delay) j.c (up cancel) j.a, land and super jump sj.B,j.B,j.C, jc, j.B,j.C, jc j.B,j.C,j.C
Less complicated than it seems and pretty easy overall. Does about 2-3k damage more than some of the easier combos, but it almost guarantees they’ll be cornered, and it builds 2 full meters. Basically if you can do the IAD j.Cs after lightning legs the rest of it is no problem.
I feel like there might be a ROM-like infinite with the j.a and up cancels, but it might knock them up too high.
I haven’t messed with using lightning legs in air combos like the combo vid from earlier, but if it’s not too hard it’ll probably add a decent chunk of extra damage.
are you guys doing launch, CCCC forward foward A? or you guys doing launch CCCC, ABC, A?
pressing ABC gets the dash out way faster
i’ve been doin it off a sweep, mash C, stop, see the legs, forward forward A. I tried doin the all buttons dash for this infinite, but sometimes those button presses seem to register to continue the lightening legs longer which is what you don’t want. i had way more success with dash tapping
is it the first button or the last button to tell the game which lighting legs you want cuz i would think it would be easier to just piano than press C or something
unless the game needs all inputs the same for lighting legs.
You do have to press 4 of the same button for LL to come out, so it is useless to piano all the buttons. They don’t have to be consecutive, but of course there is only a small (not very small) window where the 4 buttons will register for LL.
Man infinites are soooooooooo watever lol.
It looks fairly simple to catch ppl in the corner with chun, but by the way ppl are haveing problems with her infinte, is it really worth it? You could rape wit chun-li wihout even using her specials let alone infinites.
for b&b midscreen, i use the 3 air dash fierces after legs, to keep em close to the ground and knock them towards the corner, making them recover standing and do a mix up from there. of course always going for the infinite once they hit the corners.

corner-to-corner infinite set up:
2B 5C 41236C ~ ryu assist -> dash 2B 5C 41236C 623 super -> C-legs -> dash 5A 5C C-legs -> jump C -> double jump air dash C -> triple jump air dash C -> dash 5A 5C C-legs -> [dash 5A 5A 5C C-legs] x N
- fierce fireball to ryu assist should be pressed very quickly, almost kara cancel timing
- to do legs after super, jump hold up and drum on the C button. stop pressing C when you hear chun say stuff (“hyakuretsu!”)
- the air dash C’s are the hard part. you want to do those as slow as possible while still keeping the combo going, as you need to get the opponent lower to the ground
you can do a corner-to-corner infinite with no assists, but that means you’ll need to do two reps of (C-legs -> dash 5A 5C C-legs -> jump C -> double jump air dash C -> triple jump air dash C -> dash 5A 5C), which makes it way more likely for a mistake to pop up somewhere
difficulty-wise, i’d give this like a 7.5/10. it’s not exactly easy, but i can certainly see people doing this in real matches
also with chun, you’ll want to team her with a character that has a good ground combo into a super that keeps the opponent grounded, so that you can DHC into legs super into infinite
